You lied to me, you lied to me.
You made a promise
I made a promise
You sounded sincere
I just told you what you wanted to hear and you knew
You knew but you didn't care about the consequences
You thought you could change me but you didn't
You couldn't change me
I couldn't change you
You couldn't change yourself until you were away from me
You found your calling, I somewhat did
You made a replacement of me
Isn't it funny that we all play the same tune but in different octaves
You made a promise
I made a promise
You sounded sincere
I just played the tune
I was your piped piper
Stress the word was
I didn't mean to be rude but I just want to get this out there
To the one that my family hated
To the one from the North of my home
To the one four steps from my hometown
You just had to be you and ugly
Put the mask back on your face
