After the maid suddenly left, Jimin had difficulty with not blaming himself for not helping her.

''It was her own choice, it wasn't your fault.'' Yoongi had said and yes, he agreed with the part that it was her own choice to leave the palace, but it was him who ultimately hurt her and maybe led her to leave in the first place.

A month had passed by in which he felt worse and worse. Not that he told anyone about it though. He felt that this was something he had to figure out on his own and he didn't want to bother anyone especially not, when not even a week ago another attack by this unseelie took place, which costed six of their loyal soldiers their life.

Jimin is sick of just standing by the sideline whereas innocent people throw themselves into the darkness for his safety.

On top of that, the kings are incredibly busy with reassuring their subjects, as well as with coming up with ideas to ensure their safety. As for Yoongi, his husband started training alongside their soldiers with Jungkook. Jimin had wanted to stop Yoongi, because Yoongi stil hadn't recovered completely from his shoulder injury he got a couple of years ago, but he knew that he would want to do the same if he was in his place.

That left him with the only person available; Taehyung

Damnit

Jimin hoped that he would come out with the conclusion that everyone was busy and he didn't needed to share his feelings, because he didn't wanted to be a burden, but he calculated it wrong, so now he forced himself to go to Taehyung's chamber.

With lazy steps, he walked out of his room and made his way to the other side of the palace. He had put on a simple white blouse, the sleeves slightly puffed, to somewhat make the blouse more chiquer. He wore high-waisted blue pantalons and brown sandals underneath them, because he was planning to watch Jungkook and Yoongi train after talking to Taehyung.

After completing his look with a pair of earrings and his crescent necklace, Jimin began his walk.

He looked around him, laying his eyes on the familiar family portraits hanging on the walls to the pillars that went up so high, his eyes couldn't reach the end. Maids were busy cleaning the windows or dusting off the curtains and some were busy with polishing the various vases placed on different cupboards spread throughout the palace, till they succeeded in returning their shine.

On days like this, where he enjoyed the ambience in the castle, filled with voices and delicious aromas, the prince couldn't help but feel a pleasant reassurance settle in his body. It felt safe, it felt like home, something he didn't had for a long time.

Although that, Jimin would be lying if he didn't admit that the castle could be scary sometimes and then especially during the night; the long dimly lit hallways, the enormous stairs creaking under his footsteps and the eerie sounds succeeding in infiltrating the tinted window glasses.

At night, it would be too quiet and too dark for his like, two things that were completely the opposite of who Jimin is as a person.

As he was drowned in his own thoughts he didn't realize that his feet brought him to his destination, the sound of what would be a violin filled his ears instead. Jimin smiles and cautiously tiptoes the remaining distance to Taehyung's chamber. The door was slightly ajar, hence he could hear him playing.

Just like a cat, Jimin sneakily peaks his head in the doorway, just enough to see his brother in a beautiful trance.

Jimin can clearly remember the first time Taehyung touched a violin, he was adamant to learn to play it when he basically fell in love with its sound the first time he heard it, a bliss so beautiful I want to be surrounded by it forever, Taehyung described it as.
