Today, Backgammon and his mutant possy showed up at our door seeking refuge. We let them in willingly. We knew they'd never hurt anyone. We feed them and give them sleeping quarters. Kal is assigned to sleep in a room with Monique and myself. We don't mind. It will be nice to have the extra company. We are all in the same age range anyway. We are all teenage girls. The rest are staying in the mutant quarters. There are mainly boys down there, so we have the girls sleep in rooms on the regular floors and go down to the mutant quarters only during emergencies. That isn't often. Mutant quarters are basically any open quarters at this point. We are overflowing with mutants. We give them any spare room we know of or we can find. We are the leading mutant safe Haven besides Xavier. We need to build another mainland base and soon. We are filled to the brim here. We need more space.
