Alec falls for clary

Chapter 12

JACE

I had to get out of there. They are in love and I'm ruining it, what the hell happened? I walk down the street and think. Alec stole her from me, but I'm not mad at him. Just disappointed in clary, why would she chose him over me? I kick a stone that's in my way and it hits the one and only... Magnus bane.
He doesn't look like himself. No sparkles. No spiked up hair. No fancy clothing. He is just wearing some gray sweat pants and a plain white shirt. I feel bad for the guy, five years and he still hasn't got over alec. "Watch it blondie" he snarls looking at me. "Hey", I put my hand up "were both the victims here" He looks at me puzzled "how so"? "because, alec stole clary from me, and clary stole Alec from you" I say slowly trying to make my point. He looks down and nods "what can we do" he mumbles under his breath, but still loud enough to hear. I chuckle "why don't we go somewhere and talk about it" I ask.

(They are planing something? Okay who doesn't feel bad for Magnus? No one cares about jace. But Magnus? What should happen to him?)

CLARY

Alec cuddles with me on the couch as we watch tv. I always feel safe with him by me. He's mine and I could never stay mad at him. "today I saw magnus" he mumbles into my shoulder. Okay, what now? "What" I shriek jumping up. That is just not fair, I was talking to jace and he gets pissed but he was with Magnus? "He ah, wanted me to meet with him, but he knows I don't like him" he pats on the couch for me to sit back down. I won't let him win this easy "so I couldn't talk to jace without you acting like a jealous bastard" I question tilting my head to the side. Taping my foot on the ground with my hands on my hips, I wait for what excuse he has in store for me. "I- um, THATS NOT THE SAME CLARY" he yells back, "jace is a guy, your a girl. jace is a pervert, he is a player, he doesn't care about anyone. You can't talk to him" ok now he's telling me who I can and can't talk to?
