I finished dressing Alyssa as Jason wandered into the room.
"Are you guys ready?" He asked, referring to me, Alyssa and Drew.
"Yeah, just two seconds." I replied, sliding on Alyssa's pink shoes. They were so small and adorable. Tonight was our first night at the cabin, and we always go out for a nice meal on the first night, and usually just return home afterwards with some drinks. Ryan and Jason had already been out and bought food supplies, leaving the rest of us time to get ready before we go out.
"Are we eating at that nice restaurant again mommy?" Drew asked, his gorgeous mocha orbs gleaming into mine.
"I don't know, we might be. You'll have to go ask Uncle Jaden." He nodded and ran out, rushing frantically around the house to try and find Jaden; although knowing him he was probably still in the shower.
"Uncle Jaden!" Drew yelled frustrated, and I could practically sense him throwing his arms crossed in a sulk.
"What?" Jaden asked, walking past our bedroom and just down the corridor, where I later heard Drew giggle.
"Can we go to that nice restaurant please?" Drew asked politely.
"Well since you asked, no." Jaden said, placing Drew back into our bedroom and walking away. He huffed for a few moments, before rushing out and jumping on Jaden's back.
"That's not a good enough answer." He's so much like his father.
"You know I'm kidding Drew. It was the Italian one right?"
"No the one that served really nice chicken nuggets." I laughed as I headed out of mine and Jason's bedroom, holding Alyssa on my hip as she bounced happily.
"Oh yeah, of course we can." Jaden grinned.
"Yay." Drew cheered, jumping off Jaden's back and onto the couch. "Dad we're going to that restaurant again."
"So I heard." Jason smirked, making everyone else chuckle.
"Well what are we waiting for?"
"Probably your mother and sister." Jason retorted, not realising that I was standing just behind him. "Oh hello darling." He added, as I came into view, me shooting a playful glare back at him.
"Daddy is in troubleee." Drew commented, making Jake laugh.
"Are we all ready?" Jason asked, as we nodded in response. "Well let's go."
---
I grabbed Drew out of his booster seat as Jason got Alyssa, carrying her in.
"Reservation for Butler." Jason informed the waiter, as he scrolled down his piece of paper before nodding and looking back up to us.
"Ah yes, table for twelve?" He asked, attempting to count the heads briefly but soon giving up.
"Yes." Jason replied.
"Right this way then sir." He gestured, picking up some menu's before leading us to a large booth in the window.
"He's so posh." Drew giggled in my ear.
"They have to be polite to customers, it's their job." The waiter smiled at Drew as he heard me explaining.
"Especially to young gentleman like yourself sir." He replied, making Drew smile proudly.
"Drew are you sitting beside Jake?" Jason asked.
"That's sir Drew to you." He commented, walking along the seats before sitting beside Jason.
"He's too much like you." Chaz chuckled, taking a seat beside me.
"Would you like a high chair for the little one?" The waiter asked Jason.
"Yes please."
"I'll be right back." He smiled, quickly walking round the corner. The staff are so polite here, and the food is delicious. If we can't be bothered to cook we always come here. "Here is your seat." The waiter said as he placed it at the end of our table beside Jason.
"Thank you."
"Here are your menu's," he handed them around, "can I get you anything to drink?" We ordered our drinks as he swiftly took note of them before leaving to get them. "I'll be back to take your order in a few moments." Later the waiter returned with a tray full of drinks. He placed them down on an empty table beside us, before handing them out to us. "Can I take your orders?"
"Please can I, Jake and Alyssa have the chicken nuggets." Drew asked, "girls what do you want?"
"Cheesburger and fish fingers." Monica and Jade muttered.
"And a cheeseburger and fish fingers." Drew finished.
"Yes sir." The waiter replied as he scribled down his order.
"What a ladies man." Christian commented, "give me some tips?" He joked, earning a nod from Drew.
"Yeah, but it'll take a lot to get to this level." Drew retorted cockily, making all of us, even the waiter laugh.
"Anyway, can we also have 2 chicken tikka masalas, 3 cheeseburgers, a chicken and pasta bake and the southern fried chicken fillet steaks please." Christian ordered for the rest of us, the waiter nodding.
"Of course. Your meals shouldn't be too long, if you need anything, please just give me a shout." The waiter smiled, grabbing our menu's and walking away as we thanked him.
"The sense of humour on this kid." Jake sighed, shaking his head at Drew.
"You just need to know how to get the ladies." He replied, as he popped his collar making all of us laugh.
"It's like sitting with a mini Jason." Ryan added, as we nodded our heads in agreement.
Everyone began engaging in conversation, but I let my eyes wander round the restaurant, seeing that it had been completely refurbished since the last time we were here. It looks quite different, but definately more modern and appeasing. As my eyes were wandering, I noticed a figure sitting at a table by themselves, their eyes locked onto mine. Is that who I think it is? The guy smirked, and slipped off his sunglasses, as I immediately recognised his face. It's the guy from the aiport. As I studied him, I realised the resemblance to Danny that Jason was talking about, but to me, it was all too suspicious.
Same tattoo, same piercing green eyes, know's about me and Jason. Who else could it be, other than Danny himself?
I'm being stupid, Jason got rid of Danny and he hasn't been a problem to us for the past five years. There is no way it was him, this figure just looked very similar to him. I tore my eyes away, engaging into coversation, but I knew he was still watching.
This guy is everywhere.
