I made a mistake
I know it's my fault
It's me you can blame
My heart is now shattered
With nothing to gain
So why do I yearn
For your sick, twisted game?
The moment I knew
You had dragged me away
From regular dreams
And regular days
Your arms fought me farther
Away from the truth
And everything happened
Because I met you
You didn't regard
The white scars on my skin
Or ask bout' the people
I hate to call kin
You held me close
When I started to cry
I never dreamed
That you'd say goodbye
My arms are now empty
My back will grow cold
From missing the presence of you
The key that you hold
Locked away your cold heart
I can never forget
