Chapter 3

My friends and I have been together since a very young age. Ryan, Mathew, Noah, Cassie, Ann, Evie, and Darby. Our ages are nearly the same. Our middle school teacher gave us the nickname 'the jobless'.

When I almost finished packing my things, I told my mom that I'm going for a hangout with my friends the next day. She was fine with it, this time there was no time limit for me. There will be so much to do with friends and family for the next two days. Additionally, I plan on surprising my friends with some gifts. When the next morning came, I was so excited to spend time with them.

A new notification came from the group saying, "Hey guys! We'll meet at 9:30 am near our school. Today's dress theme is blue. Don't forget to wear blue shades."

I rarely choose blue outfits, so I have to dig through my closet to find one. I found a hoodie with the caption 'F.r.i.e.n.d.s.' We were all crazy fans of the series. I remember how much we liked it then.

As planned, we all gather near the school. I felt like I had not seen them in a while. It has been two months since we last met, but I have met some of them since then. Adventure is something we all love. So, we decided to go to an amusement park. Our best source for recommendations for amusement parks is Noah.

Ann began by saying, "Hey Noah! Do you know of any good amusement parks nearby?". "How about Six Flags Magic Mountain. It's good", Noah suggested.

As a result of a lengthy discussion, we all agreed with Noah's suggestion. To get to the park, we took a bus. As soon as we arrived, we took a group selfie in front of the park. At first, we toured the park's small attractions before moving on to the big ones like rollercoasters. We were put into pairs, which seems kiddish but was a lot of fun.

We stayed there until evening. Then we planned to go street shopping, where I bought them all a keychain with the first letter of their names. All of them were surprised and pleased with it. I expected that reaction from them. After a bit of shopping, we had dinner in a random food truck. It was delicious! We then decided to go see a movie. Fortunately, tickets were still available at a nearby theatre.

My friends surprised me with an album after the movie. It was filled with photos of us. There were even funny pictures of everyone. It was nice to have friends like them, and I felt bad for leaving them. When I finish my studies, I hope to find a job in California where I can be with my friends again. So, it was time to say goodbye to everyone.

"Andrews, can you come sometime during your vacation if possible?" asks Darby. "Of course Daby, I'll be here at least once a year" I reply.

"Andy, we will miss you so much!" exclaims Evie. "We'll miss you!" In the chorus, they scream. "I will miss you guys!" I tell with putting on a sad face.

I inform them, "It's time to go guys, I'll try to see you the day before I leave." Then, we parted ways and said goodbye to each other. I returned home while the others slept in their rooms. I felt like I was breaking into an unknown house like a thief. I jumped into my bed without even changing into a nightdress. Again tomorrow is going to be a big day. Tomorrow I'll be spending the day out with my family.
