Chapter 5

The last two weeks have flown by so quickly that I still have two more days until I move back to Berlin. Everything is almost set in Berlin. My cargo has arrived, the house has been cleaned, I have been accepted to a college, and I have booked my tickets to Berlin. There's just one thing I need to do when I go to Berlin, which is to organize my stuff, which I put in cargo from here, then I'm all set.

I've taken Mia out more than twice as promised, and she's happy. She got a good review from her friends back in Berlin about my new college, so she's satisfied with it. I hope I get to make some new friends, either in my neighborhood or in college. It's gonna be a new start for me.

We go to Berlin for our vacation to spend some time with our family, as well as visit Mom's and Dad's old friends from childhood and college. My mom and dad were in the same college, and it was a beautiful love story. I will never get tired of hearing their love story. Mia and I have heard it at least twenty times from our mom. Mom also loved telling us her story.

After asking my mom if we could have a family night before I leave in two days, they agreed. So, I'm going to a sleepover with my family tonight.

Mia and I downloaded some good movies to watch tonight and took board games from the attic. Before dinner, we made sure to cover the living area with cozy blankets and pillows in front of the television. In this way, we could enjoy a movie in comfort. We also hung the Christmas lights near the window, to make the place look cozy and aesthetic.

After dinner, Mom and Dad were surprised to see the makeover ma and Mia had done.

"Amazing! My two darlings have done a wonderful job on the makeover for tonight's sleepover" Dad says to us with a surprised look.

"Hey, honey! I'm so in love with this makeover. It was a great job darling" Mom says as she hugs me and Mia.

We began with board games. When Mom and Dad were resting for a while, Mia and I went into the kitchen to make some tasty popcorn. We both like caramel popcorn, while Mom and Dad prefer butter popcorn. So, I made caramel popcorn and Mia made butter popcorn. Once the popcorn was ready, we started watching the movie.

By the time the movie ended, it was two in the morning. Our mom didn't want us to get anymore tired. So, she said we should get some sleep.

When I woke up the next morning with my sister, it was almost nine in the morning. We had to take the pillows and blankets back to the room and rearrange the living area as it was earlier.

It was a nice sleepover with family yesterday.
