Breakfast was almost ready. Mom yelled our names as she got up from the kitchen to tell us that breakfast was ready. "Andy...Mia... breakfast is ready" she says.

As I and my sister walked down to the kitchen, Mia told me, "All the best Andy, I hope mom lets me take time off for school."

"Sure" I replied.

With a warm smile and delicious pancakes, Mom welcomed us into the kitchen. As we waited for mom to bring us pancakes, we sat in the dining area. Everyone is now at the table. I think now is the right time to ask about it.

"Hi mom, how are things going? Did you get a job offer?" I begin the conversation.

"No honey, I'm still looking" mom replies.

"I'll miss you guys when I move to Berlin. I am moving to Berlin in a few weeks, so I would like to spend some time with you all. What about going out on this Sunday?" With a sad expression on my face, I ask.

It turned out that they both agreed." Honey, is it alright if you look for places to visit?" mom asks dad.

"Sure, dear!" dad replies.

''Mom, may I ask you something about Mia as well? I was wondering if she can take off to school when I'm free. I will have the opportunity to spend more time with her. As you know, she is very upset about me leaving her. So, please give it some thought," I ask her, hoping she'll say yes.

Mia joins the conversation, saying, "Yes, Andy, I will make sure that I won't be left behind with school work. I will also do my best to get good grades. Mom please!" her eyes pleading with her.

Mia's permission was granted by my mom after careful consideration. Mia was jumping up and down with excitement. It was wonderful to see her like that after weeks.

Now that we have finished our breakfast, I got back to my room as soon as possible to finish packing. This way, I get at least one task on my to-do list accomplished.

Mia walked in silently while I was packing up and I had no idea she was there. "Thanks, Andy," she whispers as she hugs him from behind."

I feel like I have been a good brother to Mia all these years. This makes my heart so full.

Towards the middle of the day, I got a message from my friend's group telling me, "Make yourselves free tomorrow, we're gonna hang out. It's Saturday! No more excuse as Andrews is leaving California in a few weeks."

Hope everyone is available tomorrow. So, my friends and I are gonna hang out. Eagerly waiting for tomorrow.
