A Bit Tipsy

Phil's POV

Watching the loved ones sitting on the verge of crying makes us uncomfortable. It invokes in an urge to do something for the distressed person , but the truth is,  most often, we can't do anything. We are helpless,  and it is precisely this sense of helplessness that makes us feel uneasy .I had to come in between them, when Jake was about to touch her... I can't let that happen..

Yes the loved ones... I like her.. I realised my feelings for her when I heard about her being attacked ...I felt my stomach churn in discomfort in the thought of her being in the verge of death...

I may be a play boy.. But I'll change for her..
Layana : "Earth to Phil..".

Her sweet voice broke my chain of thought... her voice is like liquid gold, so special..

She is a ray of sunshine . a rain of warm summer . a bright fire of a cold winter’s day .She is like a mystery of natures! that no one can explain her enchanting beauty..

Layana : "Umm Phil are you okay? "

The moment she touched my shoulder I felt as if my heart skipped a beat...

Phil - "Yeah totally fine"

Layana :"umm.. Do... Do you... Do... "

I held her by her shoulder to face me... Her fair skin turned red... Ok I have some effect on her as well as she has on me...

Phil : "Lay you can ask anything ..you know? "

Layana : "Ok do you have wine at your home?"

I was shocked ..well shock is an understatement..

Phil : "I thought you told that you don't drink "
I said with a smirk.

Layana :"Yeah I remember.. But I'm in a urgent need of a distraction.. "

Phil- "Well you have me"
I said winking at her..

She swat my arm away and had a cute pout on her face..

I motioned her to wait.. And went inside only to come with red wine and two bear glasses..

Phil : "Aren't you underage? "

Layana : "Who cares...?  I have endured enough even being an underage "

I poured her wine... And with 2 shots her mind left her I guess..

We all know the polite conversations you can have with someone in a bookshop or a cafe. "Do I know you from somewhere, that's a great top, can I ask your advice, etc". But that's not what we say when we're absolutely hammered is it? We say quite literally the first thing that comes into our head and we don't give a shit about the consequences...

Layana : "Do you think the guy in the guy's toilet and girl in the girl's toilet are brothers and sisters? "

Phil : "Umm I don't know"

Layana : "You are no fun"
She said with a pout.
So cute

Layana: "What's the least attractive place to have hair ?"

I thought for a moment

Phil : "Umm I don't know again "

Layana: "Stupid it's tongue"
.she said with a loud laugh

Layana : "Why the laughing sound is "hehe" and not "she she".."

Phil : "Misogynistic "

Layana : "Do you think you will still be having sex when you're 90?"

This question made me laugh.. I thought only if the partner is you...

Then something happened which I only thought in dreams.....
