Venus was growing more weaker. She was still in the ward she was put in. Tom had become a full snake. His nose was flat, but his visits got more less frequent than usual. Seraphina and Orpheus were both married. They never came, only on birthdays and celebrations.

Venus was by herself, Tom knew about the order. And he wanted them dead. He wanted answers, he wanted to be the ruler of this world. Even if that does  mean killing more than one innocent people.

Venus was looking at the ceiling, nothing was getting better. Euphemia couldn't be happier. Her and Flesmont's son was finishing Hogwarts along with Sirius, Tom was talk very fond of Bellatrix. Lucius and Narcissa were going to marry soon.

The nurse came in to do a daily checkup. But it wasn't going well.

Alice and Frank visited. They told us they wanted a child.

Venus could hardly speak. Her fighting Spattergriot was too exhausting. The effects was that she was loosing sense of speech.

Soon Tom came back. Venus had her own ward, in a special room. He slithered next to her.

'How are you, my darling?' He asked his wife

'N-not well..I fear I don't have long to live' she breathed out

Venus was close to death, her body was fragile. But she needed to tell Tom about the prophecy.

'T-Tom-I-I need to tell you something' she stuttered turning her eyes to Toms pale face

'Go on, darling' he asked sitting next to the bed she was on. Venus still needed to have a clear sheet surrounding her so Tom wouldn't catch it. How much she wanted to touch his hand.

'A few years ago..' Venus coughed as Tom looked at his mistress with sympathy

'Take it easy' he whispered

'There's was a-a person who came to see me. A-and I-it told me-that-that..' she stuttered

'That-a b-boy-born at the end of the seventh month-c-could v-vanquish-you but you mark him as his equal. T-this-will come t-true' she choked out

Tom face hardened. She knows he knows. He immediately got up and disappeared into thin air.

She felt a burn in her forearm. She was the dark mark there..she knew he summoned his loyal followers. They must hunt for the baby. But how??

She only told a bit of the prophecy. But she knows that he will not stop to have the baby killed.

Venus's features were still there, but her face was paling a bit and she become more gaunt than ever. Like she had not eaten.

Her purple pulsates did not fade. And her disease was not getting any better. This made Tom really angry. He can't bear for his one and only love to perish forever.

You would believe it but it would break his cold heart.

Tom had summoned a deatheater meeting. And he came back to see Venus

'I have told them. We will take action, darling' he said. Nagini slithered around the bed Venus was laying on

Venus looked at her fingers. Grazing the Gaunt ring.
She looked at Tom

'I'm so tired' she smiled

'What do you mean?' He asked

'Do you think I should give up? I'm literally dying' she laughed slightly

'You won't die. I know it. Darling I cannot picture a world without you. I can't live without you' he inches closer to the woman

'Yes but...you hate to see me suffering' she smiled

'Darling you will not perish. I will make sure of it' he seethed

He hated the thought of death. Especially someone close to him.

Do you remember when we were at Hogwarts?' She asked

'Very well.' He smirked

'I wish I could relive that time. When everything was happy' she smiled

'Yes. Well now, everyone will fear us. And they already have' he tensed

Venus knew about how everyone knows him. They never knew his maiden name though. They only call him You-Know-Who or He Shall Not Be Named. Venus didn't like this, she wanted her love life to be the exact opposite.

That was breaks her heart. All Tom loves is power.

'Tom...what happened to you? ' she asked

'What do you mean by that?' He asked

'You used to be so charming, so amazing...now, you've turned psycho' she looked at him with her eyes

'Well sometimes you have to sacrifice many things to get what you want' he walked around the room

'I've been battling Spattergriot for loads of years now. Do you know how I feel?' She unbelievably said

'Yes I know what you're going through, but those stupid healers aren't doing any good.' He scolded the healers

'I'm growing weak, Tom' Venus said sadly

'You will become strong once more. I am sure' he shot

He didn't want to talk about this. So he left.

Venus was full of sadness, her heart had been shattered many times. But seeing the person she loved become psycho made her heart shatter even more.

What happened to those fairytales she would read when she was younger? What happily ever after was there?

Venus knew she would never get a happily ever after. But she made that decision by helping Tom.

Which made her feel guilty for muggles deaths.
