Venus had been stressing about her O.W.L's, they were prestigious and could affect your life. Her mind swirled about what happened two days ago, it was all that was on her mind. But she had other things, like the chamber, Horcruxes and everything!

'Calm down, darling. I'm pretty sure you will be at the top of your class for the fifth year' he reassured sitting next to her

'Yeah, yeah. Easy for you to say, Tom' she stressed whilst looking at multiple books in the library

It was the day before exams started and every fifth year was in the Library, either stressing or crying.

Once the day had finished Venus was up all night researching more things and doing some practical work.

The next day was alright, first exam that had was Potions, and this time Venus and Tom were on their own.

The potion wasn't as bad becuase it was typically easy, not like the Polyjuice potion, so Venus being Venus flied through it.

She added all the ingredients and Slughorn went around the room writing down notes on everyone. Once they had all finished, it dosent take long so they had a theory test aswell.

Which again was easy. So it wasn't too bad. She looked to see some students struggling, but oh well.

After they had DADA. Venus had no time to speak to Tom and visa versa.

First was the theory, it was alright, some questions were very advanced and some where not. Well what do you expect? It's Professor Merrythought we are talking about. But she tackled it like a warrior.

The exam day went by and it wasn't as bad as it seemed.

'See it wasn't as bad was it?' Tom came up to while Venus was reading by a tree in the courtyard

People turned their heads to see Tom with Venus. everyone thought that they were going to break up, but they guessed wrong.

She soon saw Slughorn come up to them both.

'Hello Venus! I was just wondering if you know, I was having a little get together at my office, I was hoping you could attend my special club for gifted students.If you do accept look for my owl' He asked

She was honoured, more flustered. She already knew Tom was in it because he was Slughorn's favourite. She had always wanted to get in so it meant a great deal to her.

'Yes Professor, I'd like to accept' she smiled she nodded before leaving, she turned to Tom with a big smile on her face, he had a smile on too

She jumped as he hugged her.

'I can't believe you got in! I knew you'd be there, darling' he congratulated her

Tom felt very loved that she was with him. Even more so she made in into the Slug Club. Which was very hard to get into.

Tom always had a soft spot for her, nobody else. Whoever else he tried to talk to other than his 'knights' he'd shut them down immediately, especially girls that try to get into his pants.

He had an ambition, and Venus Ravenclaw was apart of it. Mainly all of it.

She was his other half, but they are going to do a lot of sin, something Venus never wanted to do. But she wanted to do it for love.

'I wonder what life will be like in ten years' Venus went into a daze

'In ten years we will be rich and powerful beyond your wildest dreams, my darling. We will rule this world together' he looked deeply into her eyes

They hadn't really spoken of their 'night' together, until Venus asks

'Did you like it? The other night, in the Room of Requirement?' Venus blushed hard

Tom liked it, he liked being around intuitive and smart people. And why was that even a question. Of course he loved it, every minute.

'Darling, you doubt my love for you? Of course I loved it, I've wanted to do it since last year' he gripped her waist

'Let's head to our spot in the Library, where we always go' Tom smiled as they both walked into the Library.

They found their usual spot, in the very corner, just the two of them. They both read quietly as many of the first years were running up and down the halls of the library.

'Tom, do you ever think of...you know, your parents?' She asked

She knew this wasn't a good question because Tom never really talked about...feelings

'No, I don't want to think of them. They disgrace me' his jaw clenched

'But if it wasn't for them, you wouldn't be here? Right?' She replied

'I don't want to think about it okay? Now leave it alone, Venus' he looked away mumbling stiffly

'Well, was I wrong?' She challenged

'Yes, now leave it alone, just leave the subject' he didn't catch her eye

'Tom, I know you—'

'You don't know me. You never will! Nobody knows me, and I like it to be that way. What do you not get?! Leave the subject alone!' he raised his voice

That hurt.

'Well you let me into your life, I know more than anyone else' she matched his tone

'Yeah because I need you, not want you. I mean I only needed your smarts. And look how easily I've deceived the Venus Ravenclaw.' He laughed bitterly

'This...was all a joke?' She scoffed

'Honestly do you think I'd love a little smart girl like you?' He crossed his arms eyeing her

'I thought—' she got cut off

'Well you thought wrong.' He spat

'I knew it. You know Tom, everything is given to you. And you just throw it away because you think your so powerful. Well let me burst your bubble your not! Not without me' Venus huffed as she grabbed her book and walked furiously out the Library

How could she be so blind? Why was she so naïve? Of course Tom was only toying with her. Why else would he want anything else.
