And of course, the idea of Ryujin being my girlfriend had to bother me for the whole day. No, it's not that I found it disturbing or anything like that, even though I wished Soobin didn't say that, I just found it strange imagining someone like Ryujin as my girlfriend. Ryujin is amazing, she's been by my side for God knows how many years, but it would be wrong if I dated her. I love her a lot, just as a best friend though. I hope Ryujin wasn't bothered by Soobin's comment. I hope.
Ryujin P.O.V
I genuinely felt uncomfortable when Soobin asked that question. Luckily, Beomgyu was nice enough to dodge it and answer on our behalf. Imagine Lia being my girlfriend? That literally would be a dream come true. I want to know what Lia thought of it though, ohh, who am I kidding. There's no way Lia likes me like that. It doesn't matter, as long as we're close and she's happy, I'm alright.
Lia P.O.V
It was time for Literature club and I was afraid actually. I had this uneasy feeling in me because of that Soobin. I hate the guy, he's so, I don't even know how to say it.
Anyway, I was a little early and arrived before everyone, even before Yeji and Chaeryoung. I took this time to try and digest the day, it was oddly weird. Suddenly, the door flung open and the whole Literature group came in. I greeted everyone except Soobin nicely.
"Announcement time guys!" Chaeryoung exclaimed.
"Is everyone free tonight?" Yeji followed. We all nodded.
"Great, so we're all going out together and discussing different ways to showcase the anthologies we've been studying, is that okay with everyone?"
Yuna, Beomgyu, Karina and ugh Soobin agreed and they waited for my reply.
"It's alright with me, I'll just tell Ryujin."
"Pfft, why would she care unless- WAIT a minute, you two live together?" Soobin exclaimed even louder.
I looked at him with disgust, is he really going to bother me because of it.
"I do live with her, yeah so?"
"Nothing." He smirked.
He annoyed me so much.
I messaged Ryujin.
Lia:
Hey ryuuu, i wont be coming home for dinner! pls dont wait for me! make sure you eat!
Ryujin:
okay! stay safe, have fun, pls eat properly though!
Lia:
ofc, same goes for you. see you!
"I'm good to go." I said as I put my phone down. Everyone got up and we made way to our first meeting spot. After we were done, we'd all go for dinner at the restaurant nearby.
The day went smoothly, mostly anyway. I mostly stayed with Beomgyu and Yuna in order to get the least amount of Soobin possible. He tried coming close to me multiple times but I managed to avoid him.
Ryujin P.O.V
It felt weird not hearing Lia's voice for majority of the day. I know it was only a few hours but I missed her. I never got used to being alone because I always knew I had Lia. I hope she's safe though, Lia's always finds herself in trouble which is not good.
I cooked dinner that evening accidentally realising I cooked for two people instead of one. Oops. Anyway, I was hungry so I thought of eating more. I sat myself down in front of the TV, had a bowl of Kung Pao Chicken and rice and went through the night. I just mindlessly watched and ate, not noticing how quick time went by.
It was strange.
No, not the fact that I was alone for the first time in a long time but that it was nearly 1 AM and Lia wasn't home yet.
