Steve's POV
Love is an endless drive on a winding road, they say. You can't see everything about another person all at once. I agree with the statement but not totally. I don't think love is the thing that drives you going on, on the wind. That's later when you know the person deeply and you have... yes...fallen for them.
I think what drives you to that extent is lust and desire and if those last, then it forms into love which is the destination.
So I will rephrase that and say, Lust is the endless drive on a winding road and with it you have the key to see little by little the other person, so you can both reach your destination...The question is how you get to that driver's seat and start that journey? For me is the small things that drive me to that extent. What do I mean? Well, it's...
I feel a hand squeezing my bicep as I try to dispose the leftovers from the plates in the trashcan and that stops my train of thought.
"Wow...do you work out?" I hear a sweet voice asking. Well, yeah. That's what I call the small things. Great example.
I turn around and see Annabeth smiling at me. God... that smile. I would do anything to keep that smile in her face.
Yeah, yeah... Give me a break. I know what you're going to say. I'm whipped for that girl; I mean come on, who wouldn't?! The girl is a freaking goddess on earth and if you were a guy and that kind of woman did to you what she does to me everyday...you would feel the same way!All the smiling, the flirting and the touches once in a while... I mean do you know what AM I EVEN TALIKING ABOUT?! You know when a woman does those light touches, like caress your skin on the cheek or touch your hand with the most fragile hands or she makes it looked like it...Do you understand?! Those touches, no let me rephrase that, teases, yes, that's the accurate word to describe it, that are going on for one and half month now without going any further, can drive a man like me insane!
I think you can get the picture now...
"Well, you tell me. What do you think?" I smirk at her.
She tilts her head to that side and nods. "I guess, I will have to find out for myself." she winks and heads to the exit with her belongings in hand.
That girl has me wrapped up in her fingers. Damn it...

"Seriously, you guys need to stop with Annabeth there are plenty fish in the sea, you know. Not her." Cody started again.
Confused, huh? Let me help you with clearing the waters by starting from the beginning. I met the guys, Zach and Cody**, a month ago as they started like twenty to fifteen days later than me, give or take... I took the intiative to introduce myself to them when they came because they were new and since we were going to work together, I wanted to know with which kind of people I was going to collaborate. It turned out that we were and still are the same kind of people when it comes to mindset, I guess... and day by day it turned out for us to stuck together like glue.
We were working four hours at the beginning of the day and four hours at the afternoon, which left us with six hours of free time between shifts and the rest of the night of each day. Those six hours in the middle of the day were more relaxing than those by night because the only stuff that we did was go for a swim at the beach and sit in the sun or drink some coffee, at some coffee place. Sometimes it was both. The night hours were more...fun? Yeah, let's say fun as it is a safe word to describe what was going on...
Don't even make me started the times when Beth decided to tag along in those between hours... Have you seen her with a swimsuit?! I mean, come on!
