18. Where are they Shock?!!

Shadow's P.O.V.

I couldn't believe what just happened and my anger and and panic took over my actions. "WHAT...DID....YOU...DO?!?! WHY COULDN'T YOU EXCEPT DEFEAT!!!!" I screamed as tears fell from my eyes and Silver held her in place with his psychokinesis. "Not telling! You can't break me that easily! I worked for Oogie and have been loyal to him for most of my life!" Shock said with a dark smirk. Just then Jack burst into the house and he was the master of fright for a reason. He looked ready to kill, but not literally of course. "Shock there you are! Now where's Lock? And what are you up to now?!" Jack demanded in a booming voice. It make me glad I was on his good side. When Shock didn't answer, I spoke up. "She sent Annika through that portal Eggman threatened with eariler! Sonic Jumped in after her" I said as my fear and sadness finally overwhelmed me and I collapsed to my knees. Jack gasped in reaction.

Marina's P.O.V.

I was about to go swimming in my pool when barrel appeared beside me. "Hi Barrel what's up?" I asked as I turned to him. "Shock and Lock never came back! Something is wrong." Barrel replied. "Oh no that's not good. But I have something I wanted to give you." I said as I gave him a communicator watch. "I don't know if it'll work across dimensions but if it does we'll be able to stay in touch. Also can I see that spell book of yours because I'm curious about something?" I asked and he obliged. I looked through it and there was a spell that could give me to have the ability become a mobian whenever I wish! "Oh this is something perfect for the heck of it! Thanks Barrel!" I said as I read the instructions. Then I followed them perfectly and the next thing I knew, I was just a few inches taller than Barrel. "I quickly ran to the closest mirror. I was now a mobian hedgehog! I had pink and teal fur and quills. This knew ability also shrinks my outfit to fit my mobian body! "Whoa! This is amazing! I can't wait to see Sonic's reaction. Come on Barrel we can start looking there!" I said as I changed back. Barrel nodded and we ran to Sonic's house.

When we arrived there, we saw that Jack was inside. I looked through the window more closely and realized Sonic and Annika weren't there! "Oh no! Barrel do you think you can open a portal to where they took Annika and Sonic? It's obvious to me that's where they are." I asked shakily as changed to my Mobian form. "Yes I'm afraid I do. Are sure about this?! It's literally an apocalypse there!" Barrel said in a warning tone. "Yes and you just saying that made me even more sure." I said now in complete serious mode. "Very well I'll see If I can find Lock after." Barrel said as he prepared to open the portal. "Wait! Make sure you send me to as close to Sonic as possible!" I said quickly and he nodded and opened the portal. "Well good luck Marina." Barrel said before heading off to look for him. Then I jumped through.
