Calming my racing heart i replied him , "sir thats what I said, I am not sure about it , i heard few saying that it was a murder and some as an accident or a suicide ".

Anirudh's pov

The reply she gave me was quite valid, as the man was electrocuted fully , so it mostly seemed like an accident or a suicide rather than a murder , and different talks were going about this as well . Though it seemed like she spoke the truth but my inner conscience was saying that something was wrong .

"You sure ??" , I asked her

"Yes sir ", she replied confidently

"Excuse me sir" , It was Divya , my assistant who interrupted our conversation. "Sir everything is set for the inquiry , if you are ready then we can start."

"Yeah , I am coming", i said and she left with a nod.

"Ok then bye , it was nice meeting you and... thanks a lot , for helping her" , i said formally .

"It was nice meeting you too and you needn't to be thanks as i just did my duty", she said with a smile and started walking towards the garden

I stood there staring at her retreating figure . I was in two minds now , one was saying that she is speaking the truth as she was too naive to get involved in such a case and the other was saying that it was a lie for some unknown reason . I convinced myself again ,that she isn't involved in this case and left the place halfheartedly.

Bondita's pov,

He is not a rude person but he is not a soft person either . He even fulfilled my request , so sweet of him!!!
We were able to inform our parents through the phone and I felt some what relieved . But I could only attain my mental peace when I leave this place . Staying here , remaindes me of that dreadful sight again and again.

It was past 8 , when the officers called me and vinisha inside a room for the interrogation. Actually they were planning to enquire each person separately but due to heavy pressure from their higher officials to finish the case soon , they started investigating in groups or two members together.

"Bondi I am really ....." , Vinisha said,as  tears were welling up in her eyes.

I held her hand and pressed it assuringly and started walking towards the room.

When we both entered the room , i sighed in relief knowing that anirudh sir is going to interrogate us for certain reasons and smiled at him.

He just asked us to sit with a stern face.

I really wonder whether he gets possessed by spirits at times , he is really behaving as if he has split personalities.

Along with him , there were two constables and a girl who was standing just beside him to note the incidents of that night in our perspectives.

"Introduce yourselves ", he said looking at us

"Sir I am Bondita from Chennai and I am a gynecologist .

And he looked at vinisha , she looked at me again and I just blinked my eyes assuringly and asked her to reply him.

Sir I am vinisha , I am an IT employee and I am from Chennai . We have come here for our school reunion.

"When did you come here ?"

"On 21st morning sir ", i replied

He continued to ask us some basic questions.
