~Blake
While going over some paperwork, my mind drifted off to my mate. I couldn't believe I found my mate at 23, although she had yet to shift.
I considered werewolves, who hadn't shifted yet, to be weak. Even if she was beautiful, she wasn't fit to be a Luna, nor was she qualified to run my pack.
My pack was called the Moonshine Pack, and we never lost a battle; I don't plan on losing any time soon.
Whether she was my mate or not, I needed to do what was right for my pack and me.
Suddenly, my office door opened. Someone walked inside and locked the door behind me.
I didn't look up since I knew the smell of the person, Leah. We had sex countless times, so her smelling like cherry blossom and apples was nothing new to me.
"What do you want?" I asked, annoyed.
"I was wondering when you'll be here." She walked seductively towards me.
"I'm not in the mood to fuck, so leave." I rolled my eyes.
She didn't take my seriousness as a hint to leave since she kept walking towards me.
She then trailed her fingers up and down my arm when she was about to touch my d!ck, I tightly grabbed her arm and moved it away from me. She then winced in pain but quickly masked it.
"I just couldn't get over the fact of how you fucked me." She noticed my disinterest and frowned, "You don't want me anymore, Blake." She replied.
My wolf growled since he knew that our mate was the only mate for us. Besides, only a few people could call me by name.
I quickly placed my hand around her neck and choked her a bit. "Never call me by my name. I'm your Alpha." I snarled.
"But you never mind me flirting with you before." She gasped.
"You were nothing more but a slut. Disrespect me again, and I won't hesitate to kill you." I threatened.
"Yes, Alpha." She nodded her head obediently.
When I let go of her, I saw the imprints of my fingers on her neck.
"So I guess me wearing this doesn't mean anything." She opened up her jacket, and I saw that she had red lingerie.
"No." Thinking about my mate, I just couldn't bring myself to fuck her.
"Fine, but so you know, I rejected my mate, Allan, because of you." Tears fell down her cheeks while she zipped up her jacket.
"That's your problem, not mine; now leave," I growled lowly.
She then turned on her heels and left my office. After she left, I sighed heavily.
Since I no longer wanted to do work, I got up from my seat and walked towards the window.
While I stared outside, I looked up at the stars and imagined the moon goddess was watching over me.
I wondered if she would forgive me for the decision that I planned to make.
"Why did the moon goddess have to curse me by giving me a weak mate? What did I do to deserve this?" I asked no one in particular. I sighed, conflicted, and wondered if I could see myself with my mate.
After thinking for a while, I figured it was time to run in wolf form.
"There's nothing to think about. You can't reject Jen since she's all we got. If you do, then I will never forgive you." My wolf, Ace, warned me.
I rolled my eyes. "No matter the decision, I will decide, not you," I said.
"What's the decision?" He asked.
"I don't know yet," I said.
I then jumped out the window and changed into my pure white wolf. I had eyes that were as blue as the ocean.
I had the strength of ten Alphas combined, which Hunters never considered crossing my path.
I quickly mind-linked my Beta and told him that I would go on a run.
"No problem, man, we'll be fine," Simon said.
"I know." I then disconnected our mind links.
It's been a while since I ran in my wolf; I shook my fur and ran off in the direction that was far away from my pack.
Whatever decision I make, I won't let anyone stop me or change my mind.
