I got in my car and drove off, I'm a good driver even when I'm drunk. My phone started ringing "Hello?" I said angrily "Are you OK?" It was Leon he was always there for me, hes more like a brother than a friend. "Yeah..." I sighed "I'm going to be OK, Sarah did what she wanted, she split us up" I almost started to cry then reminded myself 'don't waste your tears on him' "i'll call you back later see ya" "Bye" I shut my phone off and chucked it at my windscreen, it cracked "FUCK,FUCK,FUCK!" I screamed.

 

when I got home I could hear shouting coming from the dinning room then I heard something smash. My mum and dad were fighting I didn't know what about and I didn't want to. I just walked in the room and they just looked at me "Rachael, we need to speak to you" my mum tried to comfort me by placing her hands on my shoulder, I shook them off "What about" I asked almost crying I think I know what I was about I just didn't want to believe it." Me and your dad are splitting up"I looked at the ceiling with my hands on my head. I looked up at them " Why?" i said confused I stood in between them and looked at them both. "Because your mother was sleeping around with other men while I was away!" My dad shouted. I glared at her and walked over to my dad " Is it true?" I asked her, she looked at the floor, that gave me my answer. "Go, Leave NOW!" I shouted at her. she looked up at me shocked, she turned around and walked out the door. Me and my dad walked to the front door and saw her out "Make surethedoor dosen't hit you on the way out" I said she gave me one last look and walked out the door.

"Shit!" I whisper yelled so my dad didn't hear me, my windscreen was still cracked. "Dad," I asked "Can I take your car to school?" I gave him my best smile "Why?" "Because my windscreen is still cracked" I whispered really quickly but he got the gist "no take the bus" He said while looking at his news paper "No... the bus smells and is really uncomfortable " I whinged "you've never been on the bus, how would you know?" he looked at me funny. I sighed and grabbed my bag "FINE" I shouted while walking out the door.

 

 

 

The bus came and I paid the fare and sat upstairs where all the 'bad ass' people sat, Charlotte was sat at the back with her brother and all his friends, I sat in the middle there were a few people looking at me "Take a picture it will last longer" I said to them sarcastically. Some people did, they obviously didn't understand the concept of sarcasm. After half an hour on the bus it pulled up to school. "Finally" I sighed while walking downstairs. Charlotte came running up to me and jumped on my back "HEY!" she shouted in my ear, once I got off the bus I dropped her "OW, what was that for?" she said while standing up "For not offering me a seat next to you!" I said, as I said it I noticed Sarah walking with Nick. When he saw me he ran up to me. As soon as he tried to talk to me I walked away, he tried to catch up to me "Rachael, please I've said I was sorry" He asked with pleading eyes "No, no you haven't, " I said while walking away "This isn't all my fault Its" "don't even finish that sentence" I interupted"Your right it wasn't all your fault, it was sarah's too!" I said and walked away signaling the end of the conversation. Leon came up to me and hugged me "you feel any better?" He asked "Yeah, i'll be fine"

 

 

 

Leon's P.O.V

 

 

 

Thank god she got rid of Nick he's been pissing around with her ever since they met. She was way too good for him, I don't even know how he got her. She was always trying to be nice to him yet he was so horrible. We walked around to the back of the school "Why do you think he did it?" Rachael was looking at the floor she looked really upset "he is stupid I mean I would never do that to you" oh god did that just come out. She stopped walking "What?!" she asked shocked, my eyes widened "I didn't say anything" I tried to cover it up "Fine" she said and walked away I am really stupid.

 

 

 

 

 

Rachael's P.O.V

 

 

 

Did he really just say that, Oh god does he like me. I ran over to him "Leon, do you like me?" I asked "Of cource your my friend" he repied "no, I mean like like me?" I emphasized the'like' "NO!" he said nervously then walked away quickly.

 

In Spanish Leon didn't sit next to me I think he was avoiding me or something. The new kid Josh sat down next to me "Hi" he said I wasn't really sure why he sat down next to me "Hi" I replied "What's your name, mine's Josh" he asked "I know, I'm Rachael" we shook hands and kept quiet for the rest of the lesson.

 

 

I walked to Charlotte and Jackie in the "You know that new boy josh" Jackie and Charlotte looked at each other and said at the same time "yeah" "Well.. me and him are going to see a movie tonight" I was smiling "Don't you think its a bit soon to be dating, I didn't think you were like sarah" Jackie asked "Its not a date" I protested "Oh really?" charlotte raised an eyebrow "Yes I'm sure its not, stop looking at me like that" mabye they thought it was but i'm sure it wasn't.
