Chapter 7

The bell finally rang. I stood up and walked out of the classroom, Charlie was waiting for me but when her brother and all his friends passed she ran after them. "OK then..." I said sarcastically. As I got on the bus I noticed Josh "Hi, can I sit down?" I asked "Yeah, sure" he said with a smile. "What time do you want to go to the cinemas?" I asked breaking the silence. "Umm... about sixish?" "Yeah, that's fine." I couldn't stand the silence anymore so i plugged in my Ipod and listened to some tunes.

When I got off the bus someone came up behind me and put one of my headphones into his ear "Can i help you?" I said sarcastically "Yeah," I didn't even know who it was "Before you start," I asked while turning around "Who are you?" he had a smirk on his face "What?!?" I almost shouted he was really beginning to annoy me now. "My name is Max and I would like to take you out tonight" he said while walking with me, I didn't even know him, he just kept following me when we reached my house his eyes went wide and his mouth hung open I just laughed. "Before you ask, yes this is my house...and i will take my headphone back now!" I took the headphone and started walking up the path to my house, I can't believe he followed me. I turned around with an unhappy look on my face "Why are you following me?!" I asked really annoyed now "You still haven't answered me" I rolled my eyes, he looked really anxious to hear my, has he been planning to ask me out now that i'm 'on the market' he thinks he can suddenly ask me out "Umm.... NO!" I shouted at him and slammed the door behind me "OK... see you later then!" he mumbled outside. GOD!

I stormed up to my room, my dad ran up stairs, he knocked on my door and walked in "You need to clean up in here" that's all he said "go away i'm not in the mood!" I muffled in to my matress and chucked a pillow at him. "Before I go I need to tell you I'm going on a business trip for a month tommorrow so you will have the house free from me. Rule one: no drug dealing" I started o laugh he alway cheered me "Rule two: No party's after two in the morning" I pouted and chucked another pillow at him. He sprinted out of the room before my lamp was fired at his skull.

I got ready for the movies I was dressed casually so it didn't look like I was making an effort. I met up with Josh, "Hi" I smiled "Hi" there was an awkward silence "...So shall we go in" he asked "Yeah" we rushed in and nearly fell over a chair as we were sitting down to watch the film, I didn't even know what we were watching.

About half way into the film Josh turned to me I looked at him too he started leaning in and he closed his eyes. I slapped him around the face, stood up poured all the popcorn over him and stormed out luckily we were sat at the back so we didn't disturb as many people, but plenty looked.

I waved my dad off as he drove away. I ran up stair and got changed I was wearing a pair of denim shorts and a blue and white stripped hollister vest top and a pair of white sandals. I opened the door and Max was stood there I just ignored him, shut the door turned the key and walked to the garage, finally I could use my dad's car instead of those grotty school buses. I slid in and closed my door. Max opened the passenger door and got in "I'm sorry I can't remember offering you a lift" I said rolling my eyes, "You must have amnesia darling!" He said while putting his seat belt on. I glared at him, but knew I wouldn't win. I finally gave in and drove off.

I slammed my car door and Max walked over to me "So that was a lovely first date!" he smiled "Do you think I can get a kiss" He asked I smiled and spoke all girlie "yes, from my fist!" then I stared daggers at him and walked away "I get you soon!" I heard him say. I sighed "Great " I said under my breath. "Who was that guy?" Jackie asked winking "A dick" I sighed "Oh" she looked down "so how was your 'date' with Josh" she enthisiced 'date' "It wasn't a date !" I yelled "Sorry!" she held her hands up "Just leave it!"

The day went slow it was only the first lesson and it felt like forever. The worst part was Josh kept staring at me. I just couldn't handle it anymore from the stress of my parents splitting up, Leon liking me now Josh and to top it all off there's Max! I stood up grabbed my things and ran out of class.
