Chapter 13 

I pulled away from Nick. “I don’t think this is right.” I stood up and walked away.

I felt him grab my wrist and pull me back.

“Why is it not right?” I looked into his gorgeous eyes. They looked so innocent, but deep down I know he’s not.

“Because I don’t know whether I can go through the pain of you kissing someone else again.”

“I would never do that. I never meant to kiss her, she kissed me. Rachael I don’t want to lose you again.” He looked deep into my eyes.

“You do need to regain my trust though. So we’re not together, and when I start to trust you a bit more then there may be a possibility.”  I pulled my wrist from his hand. “We’re going home I think I’m OK now.” I had to face everyone sometime and it wasn’t fair to hide away every time something bad happened.

Nick nodded and we walked back to the villa in silence. When we got back we both went to our rooms.

I heard my phone ringing and saw that it was Leon.

“Hello, sweetheart I haven’t seen you in a while.” I smiled hearing his voice. I really missed him.

“Hello, dear. The reason you haven’t seen me for a bit is because I’m in Italy.”

“What, why are you there? Why didn’t you tell me?!” He shouted.

“It’s fine, I’m fine. I just needed some time to think and relax. I’ve had a lot on my mind lately.” I reassured him. I heard him sigh.

“As long as you’re coming back soon.”

“I’ll be back in a few days. I’ll call you when I get back, see you soon.” He didn’t reply he simply cut me off. I don’t think he’s very happy with me.

Leon’s P.O.V

I can’t believe her. Why would she go to a different country and not tell me? I haven’t seen her for a couple of days and I miss her.

I drove to school and met up with the bratty threesome- Charlotte, Jackie and Ellie- I never really liked them. I only spoke to them because Rachael was friends with them.

“Have you got any news on the whereabouts of Rachael?” Charlotte asked looking concerned.

“Yeah, she’s in Italy.” I said nonchalantly. I heard a chorus of gasps.

“Why is she there?” Ellie asked.

“She needed to sort things out.”

“I heard she’s got back together with Nick. Apparently someone saw them hugging in the parking lot the other day.” Jackie said. Even hearing a rumour slightly broke my heart. What if she had gotten back together with him, she would be incredibly stupid. Why can’t she just open her eyes?

I walked to form room and sat at my usual seat next to Dannie.

“Where’s Rachael?” She asked quietly.

“In Italy but the worst part is I think I know who she’s gone with.” I sighed putting my head in my hands.

“Who?”

“I think she’s gone with Nick. According to Jackie they’re back together and no one has seen them in the past two days.”

“She is really stupid if she is with him. Why won’t she just realise what a douche he is?” Everyone I’ve spoken to agrees that Nick is a waste of space. Only a few people truly like him.
