SECOND

Chapter 8

It's been more than an hour pagkatapos nang nangyari. Nandito kami ngayon ni Sunghoon sa isang restaurant malapit sa bungee jump site.

Isang oras din muna kaming tumunganga at pilit na ibinalik ang mga kaluluwa namin sa aming katawan pagtapos naming tumalon. Literal na isang oras kaming nakatulalang pareho sa kawalan.

Pagkatapos ng mahabang pagkalutang namin ay inaya niya akong kumain. Bigla naman akong nakaramdam ng gutom pagkatapos niya akong inayang kumain kaya hindi na ako tumanggi.

Dumidilim na ang paligid pero may mga tao pa rin dito sa restaurant. Marami rin naman kasing bahay dito sa malapit at marami ring nags-stop over dito upang kumain.

Sunghoon must be hungry that he ordered a lot of foods. Hindi ako pamilyar sa mga sinasabi niyang pangalan ng pagkain, I think I'll just eat anything. Pareho kaming ginutom ng sobra dahil sa ginawa namin.

Bungee jumping is indeed fun and it really feels like I was flying. Kaya lang parang inubos niya rin lahat ng lakas ko. Parang lantang gulay tuloy kaming pareho kanina. Mabuti na lang at hindi ako namutla at nagsuka.

But I am proud that I was able to overcome my fear. I really wanna do it at sobrang sarap lang sa feeling na may na achieve ka sa mga goals mo.

We are still waiting for our food. I am looking at the view outside the window while Sunghoon is focused on his phone.

I glanced at him and saw him typing. He must be replying to his members or his friends.

I sighed.

This day is supposed to be Sunghoon's rest day but look at where he is now. He wasn't able to get some rest. I know he wants to do this and I am a fool if I'll think that he is doing it for me.

He accompanied me here. He waited with me. He jumped with me even though he is scared.

"Thank You."

Napa-angat siya ng tingin sa akin. His eyes are confused. "Huh?" Nalilito niyang tanong.

"Uhm... I mean.... Thank you for being with me here...." I can't speak while staring at him kaya yumuko ako.

"Thank you for being with me today..." sa sobrang kaba ay humina ang boses ko.

I was shocked when he lifted my chin and made me look at him. "What did you say again?"

Hindi ako makagalaw at nakatitig lang sa kanya. I was too shocked for what he did.

"Sher?"

Nagpalipat-lipat ang tingin ko sa dalawang mata niya. He is seriously waiting for my words. "Thank you for being here...." with me, "....today."

His lips gently rose for a smile. God, how good looking he is when he smiles like that.

His smile turns into a grin as I felt his fingers pinching my cheeks. "Ah, you're too cute." And with that, napangiti na rin ako.

"You're an Engene right?" He asked out of nowhere. I never thought we'll get to talk about Enhypen, and now he's the one who opened this topic first.

I smiled brightly. I am so proud na naging fan nila ako. Whenever Enhypen's the topic, I always become so bright, lalo pa ngayon at isang member nila ang kausap ko.

"Yes!" Sabay tango ko pang sabi. "I am really your fan since day one, like the moment I saw your posters posted online, I immediately said that, 'I'm gonna stan the group that'll be formed.' "

"Who's your bias, then?" Napatingin ako sa kanya sa tanong niya. He was waiting for my answer.

Nagpipigil ako ng ngiti. I can't help but smile everytime someone asks who my bias is, but it's kinda embarrassing now as Sunghoon is the one asking, and we're not even in a fancall or fansign, this is just a simple conversation between..... uhm... friends? But is he considering me as his friend?
