"Okay, our community is counting on us. La Familia Madrigal!" Abuela said. They repeat what she said. I don't know if I should go along. But I'm aware that I'm not actually a part of them. So I just stay silent. But I know, that I have to try my best in adapting to this family's culture. Let's just hope I won't mess it up.

-Helping The Town-

Y/N P.O.V

I follow Luisa around the village. A girl comes up to me. "I feel very lonely, can you create a cat for me?" She said. "Sure... what kind of cat?" I said. She starts telling me the detail, appearance and such. I take out a smaller drawing kit which makes it easier to carry around.

Once the drawing is done. I wave my hand in across the page. The light is in my hand. I lift it up and open my hand, pointing it towards the ground. A little cat materialize from the light. The girl let out a squeal. She pick up the cat and hold it close to her chest. She turns to me and smile.

"Thank you..." she said. "My pleasure" I said, with a soft smile. Luisa turns to me. "Well done. Not bad a first timer" she said. I just smile at her. I follow her around once again. So far, I've been asked to create a cabinet, table, mirror and a lot of other stuff. I'm so happy to finally be able to use my power for good things.

I can see Mirabel rushing towards us. She walks up to Luisa, who's carrying a few of donkeys. "Luisa, wait a second!" She said. Luisa notices Mirabel and walks faster. I quickly follow along, while quickly sketching out what the people want and materialize it. I'm glad I can speed up my drawings, or I might get overwhelmed by the amount of requests.

"You gotta tell me about the magic! What's going on? What are you hiding?" Mirabel said, still trying to talk to a Luisa. "Nothing, just gotta lotta chores. So maybe you should just go home..." Luisa said. A man is asking Luisa to fix his house, which looks a little crooked. Luisa kicks it with her foot, getting it stand upright.

Mirabel continues to chase after Luisa. She looks desperate as if she's trying to find out something. "Dolores said your eye was twitching and it never twitches, something's making you nervous" she said.

"Hey move, you're gonna make me drop a donkey. Come on, Y/N" Luisa said. I glance at Mirabel. "Y/N!" Luisa calls out. "Coming! Sorry, Mirabel!" I said. I turn around and chases after her. "Luisa?! Will you just... just tell me what it is!" Mirabel said, as she start chasing after us again.

"There's nothing to tell..." Luisa said. "You're obviously worried about something! Luisa, if you know what's hurting the magic and it gets worse 'cause you won't tell me what's wrong!" Mirabel said. "Nothing's wrong!!" Luisa yelled as she turns to her. Mirabel jumps at her sudden change of tone.

"Wow, uh, sorry, that, uh, that snuck out there... what I meant was... "why would anything be wrong?" I'm totally fine. The magic's fine. Luisa's fine. I'm totally not nervous" Luisa said, trying to play it off with a smile. But her right eye starts twitching. "Uh, your eye is... doing the thing..." Mirabel said.

Luisa leans to Mirabel until her face is close hers, with a serious expression.

I'm the strong one, I'm not nervous
I'm as tough as the crust of the earth is
I move mountains, I move churches
And I glow 'cause I know what my worth is

She starts singing. She walks towards a boulder and toss it to the sky. It comes back down and shatters as it hits her body.

I don't ask how hard the work is
Got a rough indestructible surface
Diamonds and platinum, I find 'em, I flatten 'em
I take what I'm handed, I break what's demanding
But

The surrounding starts to change as she keeps on singing.

***

Pressure like a drip, drip, drip that'll never stop, whoa
Pressure that'll tip, tip, tip 'til you just go pop, whoa-oh-oh
Give it to your sister, it doesn't hurt
And see if she can handle every family burden
Watch as she buckles and bends but never breaks
No mistakes just
Pressure like a grip, grip, grip and it won't let go, whoa
Pressure like a tick, tick, tick 'til it's ready to blow, whoa
Give it to your sister and never wonder
If the same pressure would've pulled you under
Who am I if I don't have what it takes?
No cracks, no breaks
No mistakes, no pressure

She finishes her singing with a heavy breath. I just stand there, not knowing what to say... or how to react. Mirabel steps forward and hugs her.

"I think you're carry way too... muuch" Mirabel lets out a squeak when Luisa squeezes her in a tight hug. "Maybe I overdo it" she said. "Yup..." Mirabel said, breathlessly as Luisa squeeze her again.

"Um, there is something you should know: last night, when you saw the cracks, I felt... weak" she said, whispering the last word. She finally let Mirabel go. She takes a deep breath, trying to even out her breathing.

"Wha- What, what, what?!" Mirabel stammered. "Luisa! The donkeys!" Sr. Rendon said. "On it!" Luisa said. "Wait, wait, wait - what do you mean? What do you think's hurting the magic?" Mirabel said, as Luisa walks away.

"Don't know. But I heard the grown ups once: before Tio Bruno left, he had like some terrible vision about it" Luisa said. "Tio Bruno? What was in his vision?" Mirabel said. "No one knows, they never found it. But if something's wrong with the magic, start with Bruno's tower, find that vision" Luisa said.

"Wait, how do you "find" a vision?! What am I even looking for?" Mirabel said. "If you find it, you'll know. But be careful... that place is off limits for a reason" Luisa said. I turn to look at Mirabel after Luisa walks off. I smile at Mirabel and follows after Luisa.

Time-skip

I head back to the Madrigals house. I make my way to the room I've been staying in. Just as I'm about to enter the room. I can see Mirabel making her way somewhere. I don't even know where that is. But I feel like she's up to something. I gotta make sure she didn't do anything stupid.

I quickly follow her. She avoids Abuela and I hide to, not wanting her to catch me. I quickly follow her as she walks again. She walks up a staircases. I notice there's a door by the end of it. It's written Bruno on the door.

Oh boy...
