Isabela hates Mirabel. She isn't exactly nice to me either. I don't know why... I never do anything to her. But whatever I do, seem to always get on her nerve. I just shake my head and let out a sigh. This is going to be a harder than I thought.

-Isabela's True Feelings-

Y/N P.O.V

We are now standing near Isabela's room. We hide behind a balcony rail. "Why would 'embracing Isabela' do anything?" Mirabel said, sounding annoyed.

"Idaknow, our family got a miracle, how do you help a family miracle? You hug a sister" Bruno said. She turns to Bruno as if he had said something stupid. I let out a sigh. I hide when I see Camilo walking on the lower ground.

"Mirabel! Y/N!" He yelled. He glitches and turns to a baby with an adult's body.

(I can't find a gif... so this will do. You can basically see what he's doing)

"Miraaaabeeelll!!!" He yelled. I cover my mouth as I try not to laugh. Camilo is adorable. Wait... what? I feel my cheeks turning pink as I realize what I just thought of.

I hear someone clearing their throat. I turn to see Mirabel giving me a knowing look. "What?" I asked. "You like him... don't you?" She said, smirking at me. I can feel my cheeks getting warmer. "Huh... uh.. w-wha- ugh! Let's just focus on the current situation, yes?" I said. "She's right... I think we're running out of time" Bruno said, agreeing with me.

"Ugh! It's not gonna work! She won't hug me, ever, okay? She hates me! Also, I don't know if you heard but I ruined her proposal!" She said. "Mirabel..." Bruno said.

"It is just annoying. Of course, it's Isabela" Mirabel said, not listening to him. "Mirabel..." I said. She ignore me as well. "and what's her problem with me anyway, she's the one with roses coming out her" she said. "Mirabel!" I yelled out. She turns to me with a startled look.

"Oh sorry. Sorry. Sorry. You see you're missing the point. The fate of the family is not up to her, it's up to you" he said. "He's right... you're exactly what this family needs. You just have to see it" I said. "By yourselves. After I leave..." he said. He quickly grab a pot and drag it.

"What? You're not coming?" Mirabel said. "It was your vision, Mirabel. Not mine" he said, waving his hand dismissing her question. "You look scared..." I said. "You're scared Abuela would see you" Mirabel said.

"Yup... I mean yes. That too..." he said. He opens the painting and turn to us before leaving. "Hey... after you save the miracle. Come visit?" He said. "After we save the miracle. We're bringing you home" she said. Bruno smiles at us. "Knock knock knock knock knock knock. Knock on wood!" He said. He takes a deep breath and holds it while crossing his fingers.

"Ready?" I said, turning to look at Mirabel. "Here goes nothing..." she said. "You got this..." I said. "Just gonna save the miracle... with a hug" she said, sounding not excited. We get up and make our way to Isabela's room.

"Isa... hey?" She said, entering the room. She turns to look at me who's just standing by the door. "Y/N. Come on..." she said. "Your sis hates me..." I said. She sighs and grabs my wrist. "Please don't make me do this alone..." she said, pulling me with her. I let out a sigh and walk inside Isabela's room with her.

"I know we've... had our issues... but I'm... ready to be a better sister. So we should just hug, huh? Hug it out, eh?" She said. I can tell she's trying not to cringe as she said it.

"Hug it out?" I hear someone said. I turn my head to see a bad lowering down. She looks so annoyed. "Luisa can't lift an empanada. Mariano's nose looks like a smashed papaya. Have you lost your mind?!" She yelled the last sentence.

"Isa, I feel like you're upset... and you know what cures being upset? A warm embrace" Mirabel said. "Get out" she said. Mirabel wants to protest but Isabela makes a flower appears, covering her mouth with it.

"Everything was perfect! Abuela was happy, the family was happy, you wanna be a better sister, apologize for ruining my life!" She said. "Isa..." I tried to say. "Stay out of this. You're not a part of us! You have no place to say anything" she said. I close my mouth and look down, as tears escape my eyes.

"Y/N..." Mirabel said. "It's okay... go on. You can talk to your sister..." I said, looking at her with a forced smile. She turns to look at Isabela with an angry face. But she just give her a smug expression. "Go on... apologize" she said. "I am sorry..." she said. Isabela smirks.

"That your life is SO great!" She said. "Out" she said. "Wait fine! I apologize! I wasn't trying to ruin your life and Y/N was only trying to help! Some of us have bigger problems, you selfish, entitled Princess!" She yelled angrily.

"Selfish?!" Isabela screeches. "Mirabel... you're not going anywhere with that..." I said. Isabela walks towards us. "I've been stuck being perfect my whole entire life and literally the only thing you have ever done for me is mess things up!" Isabela said, angrily. "Nothing is messed up! You can still marry that big, dumb hunk-" Mirabel tries to say.

"I NEVER WANTED TO MARRY HIM. I WAS
DOING IT FOR THE FAMILY!!" Isabela yelled angrily. Out of no where a plant appear. But it looks nothing like the ones Isabela used to grow. She stares at it in shock.

Mirabel stands up. "Oh my gosh... Isa... that is a very serious confession. Okay... get over here. Bring it in" she said, spreading her arms. But Isabela ignores her as she stares at the plant.

I just made something unexpected
Something sharp, something new
It's not symmetrical or perfect
But it's beautiful and it's mine
What else can I do?

Bring it in, bring it in
Good talk, bring it in, bring it in (what else can I do?)
Let's walk, bring it in, bring it in
Free hugs, bring it in, bring it in

I grow rows and rows of roses
Flor de mayo, by the mile
I make perfect, practiced poses
So much hides behind my smile

I quickly step aside, not wanting to get involved in this. Who knows what kinds of plants that would start growing. If a cactus can grow like that.

I run outside the house as I watch them singing. A bunch of various kinds of plants starts appearing. I smile softly, finally realizing that Isabela just wants to express herself in her own way, without having someone to restrain her. She's having a hard time just as much as Mirabel and I have.
