Everything I know is gone. Even the pain... even if it won't heal perfectly. I'm willing to forgive them for their wrong doings. Today...

I'm letting go a painful past

Y/N P.O.V

It's been a week since we return from C/N. Camilo didn't say anything about the trip, because he knows how hard it is for me. Instead, he just stays with me when I feel down. I'm grateful to have him in my life.

I'm laying on the grass, staring at the sky. Both of my hands behind my head as a pillow. My mind drift off to what Mr. Navarro said. I'm not a normal human... I'm a spirit created to bring fortune to C/N. But those people treated me horribly, that's why bad fortune came to them.

I hear footsteps coming closer. Someone hovers me, blocking my view of the cloud. "Camilo..." I said. He smiles at me. "Here you are, mi vida. I have been looking all over for you..." he said. He moves to lay down next to me.

He slides a hand under my head, pulling me closer to him. I place my head against his chest. On of my arm wraps around his torso. While a hand is on his chest.

I feel a soft kiss on the side of my head. I snuggle closer to his chest. "Y/N..." he said. "Hm?" I said. "What's on your mind?" He said. I just stay silent.

I can hear him sighing softly. I feel his arm tightens. "Are you still bothered by what happened?" He said, he sounded like he's trying to be careful with his words. I just nod my head.

He runs a hand through my hair. "It's in the past, Y/N... there's no need for you to think about it" he said. "It's hard for me not to think about it, Camilo. After all... I found out that everything I knew was a lie..." I said.

"Nothing is a lie. Even though your parents weren't your biological parents. You told me about your past with your parents. By what you've told me, both of them loved you..." he said. I pull away slightly to look at him.

"You really think so?" I said. "Of course, Mi Vida..." he said, smiling softly at me. I just smile at him. He tuck a strand piece of hair behind my ear. He leans in and place a soft kiss on my lips.

We make our way back, as it is now late. We walk through the town hand in hand. I look down at our entwined hand. I smile softly to myself, knowing despite anything that had happened in my life... I have Camilo here with me. He's always ready to be there for me.

After a while of walking, we finally reach Casita. He walks me to my room. I let out a laugh as he starts to act silly. I guess what Mirabel said is true. Camilo wouldn't stop until he makes you smile. He's such a sweetheart.

We finally reach my room. He turns me to look at him. He wraps an arm round my waist, pulling me closer to his chest. He leans his forehead against mine, while smiling fondly at me.

"Camilo... we're at home" I said. "So?" He said. I turn to look at the window. He notice what I'm implying, and laugh softly.

"Oh don't worry... Casita knows we're in love with one another. Right, Casita?" He said. The window moves, along with the tiles. I just blush as he turns to me once again.

"See? Nothing to be embarrassed of..." he said. I just roll my eyes at his comment. He lets out a chuckle. He lift his hands, cupping my cheeks softly. He leans in, placing a tender kiss on my lips. The shyness in me slowly vanish. I wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him back passionately.

We pull away after a while, since we need to breathe. He place a soft kiss on my forehead and smiles at me. "Good night, Mi Vida... don't think about the past anymore, okay? Let's look forward into the future. The future we'd share..." he said. I nod my head and smile at him.

"Goodnight, Camilo... I love you" I said. He smiles brightly at me. He gives my lips a quick peck. "I love you too..." he said. I smile as I watch him walk away towards the direction to his room.

I turn around and enter my room. I grab a towel and head for the bathroom for a quick shower. Along with my night routine.

I sit in front of the dressing table. I gently comb my hair. My mind drifted back when I was a kid. How my mom would comb my hair for me. It's still hard to believe... that the ones who raised me turns out they weren't my real parents. It's heart-breaking to learn... that everything I knew wasn't real.

I let out a sigh. No need to think about that. I'm here in Encanto now. This is my home. With Camilo and the rest of the Madrigals. They welcomed me with an open arms.

I shake my head, dismissing the thought. I get up and make my way to my bed. I lay down, pulling the blanket until it reaches under my chin. I close my eyes and let myself drift off to sleep.

Time-skip

I wake up due to movement. I look down to see the tiles moving around. "Okay, Casita... I'm awake..." I said. The tiles finally stops moving after I sit up. I stand up from my bed and stretch. I make my way to the bathroom for a morning routine.

Once I'm done, I put on my clothes. I walk towards the dressing table. I pick up my brush and starts to brush my hair, trying my best to get rid of all the tangles.

I jump out of fright when someone burst into my room. I turn my head to see Mirabel. "What was that for, Mirabel?" I asked. "Someone wants to see you..." she said, looking at me with a serious face. "Who?" I asked. "Uh... I think you better see it for yourself..." she said. "Hm... alright. Lead the way" I said. She nods her head. She grabs my hand and starts to pull me along.

We walk out of Casita. Someone is standing there with their back facing me. I furrow my eyebrow as I walk towards the person.

"Um... are you looking for me?" I said. The person slowly turns around. I let out a gasp out of shock, as I realize who it is.

No way...
