The next morning Eliza woke me up just as the sun was peeking over the horizon. She was already dressed, had her bed neatly made and had her bags waiting by the door. It was amazing what she could do when she was excited for something.
“Come on, you lazy bum! Get up!" She hit me with one of the pillows. I just ignored her and tried to go back to bed. She hit me harder and I sighed.
“What time is it?” I asked. At first I didn’t know if she heard me but then she answered.
“Five thirty.”
“In the morning?”
“Uh, yeah!”
“Why are you waking me up so early? I thought we weren’t leaving till noon!”
“Yeah but you need to be ready.”
“It doesn’t take me that long!”
“But I couldn’t sleep and now I’m lonely. Please get ready.” I could hear the begging in her voice.
“Fine.”
I slowly unburied myself from the pile of blankets and pillows. Eliza was sitting perfectly on her bed, just like the first day she got here. She was wearing her silky red hair in two fishtail braids and wearing make up that made her blue eyes pop.  She was wearing a lose floral tank top and blue jean shorts. On her feet she was wearing black converse. She looked casual yet pretty. I smiled at the fact that she was really trying to get Finn. They would looked good together.
I grabbed some clothes from the dresser and my shower bag and headed out of the room to the showers. Whiskers accompanied me in the short walk. The ugly cat put a bright smile on my face.
I was the only one in the shower house. Water pinged off in the distance. I went to the cleanest shower and turned the water on. After I stepped into the shower and started to wet my hair the lights started to flicker.
A few seconds later the lights stopped flickering and returned back to normal. I went on with my shower and forgot about the lights.
After my hair was washed the lights started to flicker again.
“Is someone there?” I called out to the silence. The lights flickered for longer periods of time and then shut off. I quickly finished my shower in the dark and got dressed. I grabbed my stuff and ran out of the shower house.
Back in my room Eliza was reading a magazine she read two weeks ago. The moment I entered she sat up and looked at me.
“You okay? You look like you saw a ghost.”
“The lights went off in the middle of my shower.”
“Hmph.” She said and went back to reading. I sighed and headed to our bathroom.
Each dorm had a miniature bathroom that only had a toilet and a somewhat good counter with a sink. There was also a mirror above the counter and above the toilet was a medicine cabinet. Under the counter held all of our hair products and Eliza’s makeup.  In the medicine cabinet we held, well, medicine.
I pulled out the hair dyer and plugged it into the wall. I cleaned my face real quick and dried my hair with the towel. I then dried my hair completely with the hair dyer and pulled out few elastic bands. I quickly put my hair into a French braid.
As soon as I walked out of the bathroom Eliza yelled at me.
“You can’t wear that!” I looked down at myself. Dark jean shorts and a t-shirt. What I usually wore in the summer.
“Why not?” I asked.
“Do you really think Colton will like you if you look like that?”
“It’s not about looks.”
“Yeah, well, they won’t notice you if you look like a bum.”
“I’m not a bum!”
“You look like one.”
“Fine.” I walked over to the dresser and pulled out a loose tank top with a picture of the ocean on it. In black cursive letters it said: ‘Live Free.’
“How’s this?” I asked after I changed into the tank top.
“Better.” I sighed and grabbed my bags from by the side of my bed. I sat them down next to Eliza’s bags.
I walked over to the night stand and grabbed my cell phone. The bright white numbers told me it was only seven o’ clock. At this time, I seriously hated Eliza.
I made my bed and plopped down on it with one of Eliza’s magazines.
Hours later it was close to eleven. Carrie, our friend who hung out with everyone was in our room waiting to go. Carrie was a small girl with frizzy brown and blonde hair and dark brown eyes. Carrie was one of those girls that you could talk to about anything and would always be there for you. She always listened and smiled. I always wondered why Carrie was here; she never told anyone why.
A knock came at our door at eleven forty five. Eliza flew off the bed and opened the door. Colton and Finn were there with a few others behind them.
“You girls ready to go?” Colton asked. Eliza nodded and grabbed her stuff off the floor. She looked back at Carrie and I and gave us eyes that said: Hurry up before I kill you. Eliza was just a pocket of sunshine.
Carrie and I grabbed our bags and followed after Eliza. I wondered as we left our room how Colton and the rest of the boys managed to get in the girls dorm without Miss Little kicking them out. Then again, Miss Little was blind in one eye so they probably ran past her bad side.
Colton and the rest of the group headed out to the dorm parking lot where a few cars sat. The parking lot was mainly for the teachers here at Greenwood, who stayed at the top floor of the dorms. Eliza had managed to get a van for us to borrow. Sadly only some of us knew how to drive.
Carrie, Alexis, and I sat in the very back of the van. Matt sat in the middle row where the two people from the other school would sit. Eliza and Finn sat in the front row. And last, Colton drove while Adam sat in the passenger seat with a map.
Halfway to the other school Carrie tapped my shoulder. I looked over to her.
“Yes?”
“Do you like Colton?” My eyes grew big and I looked around the van. No one seemed to hear her. Good.
“Maybe.” Carrie smiled at me.
“I see the way you look at him.”
“What?”
“You stare at him, even if you don’t notice.” I looked away from Carrie and over to Colton. He was laughing at a joke that Adam was telling him. I smiled instantly. “See? Tabitha, you like him.” Carrie was one of the few people who called me Tabitha. Carrie once told me that Carrie was a shorted version of her real name. When I asked her what her real name was she told me that only her parents knew. I felt kind of bad for the girl.
When I looked back at Carrie she was sleeping or at least pretending to sleep. I decided not to figure out which. I looked over at Alexis who was hitting Matt in the back of his head. Eliza and Finn were talking up front. Finn looked like he was really enjoying talking to Eliza.
We arrived at the school gates where the two people, which were a boy and a girl, were waiting. The school was Yancy Academy, another school for troubled kids. The boy was a senior in school and apparently he had skipped fourth grade. The boy’s name I never really caught because the girl with him, which I assumed was his girlfriend, kept calling him Le-le. So I’m guessing his name was Lewis or Lester. I don’t know. The girl, who was about have the size as the Le boy, was called Bella. As the two of them waved and headed towards the van I got a chill down my spine. The moment they entered the van I wanted to scream and hide.
The two of them were both rather pale. Their eyes looked like that of demons. I imagined green scales appearing on their skin and tentacles forming on their backs. I rubbed my eyes and they returned back to normal humans.
Bella sat down after she threw me a quick smile. I noticed that Colton stared at Bella like she was the prettiest thing in the world. I felt like someone stabbed a knife in my heart. I was starting to doubt the trip’s perfection.

A/N: Do you think Bella and Le are monster or is Tabby just imagining it? Tell me what you guys think! So this is sort of a bonus chapter because I had it on mind and really wanted to write it down. Hope you enjoyed!
