The loud bong of a drum shook the castle walls, cheering and singing coming from all directions. Chi had helped Daniel to learn how to dance- so he wouldn't completely trip over his feet. Even Sato- who had wanted to kill Mr. Miyagi only a few days ago, was cheering with the village. Together, they danced, until the last bong was played. Families ran to each other, hugging and smiling. Chi walked up to Daniel, as the young girl whom he saved from the storm gave him a large hug. "If it not for you, I not be here." she said, causing Daniel to chuckle. "Oh well you know-" he stuttered, placing her down. He immediately took Chi's hand, her smiling warmly. "Your gonna do great. I've always watched you dance. K?" he stated- in an attempt to reassure Chi. "Yeah- I do wish me and Kumiko were dancing at the same time, but it just wouldn't work." she said, causing Daniel to nod. She looked away, still obviously nervous. "Hey." he said, placing his arms around her shoulders. "Did I tell you you look beautiful tonight?" he questioned, a flirtatious smirk on his face. This caused Chi to giggle, her face blushing with pink. "No..." she flirted back sarcastically, as people in the background began to take their seats. "You got it." he said, pecking her cheek gently. Chi sighed, still smiling. She slowly walked over to her dancing position, the last few people getting settled in their seats. Suddenly, a sweet harmony started playing. Daniel had heard this before. Chi elegantly moved her hand down to the fan sitting on the ground on top of her, Daniel watching with intent. God, it was like a spell was casted on him when she danced. She slowly picked it up, flicking it out to its full size. She flipped it once- catching it perfectly, causing awes from the crowd. She moved it carefully across her face, meeting Daniel right in the eye. She giggled to herself lightly- as he was watching so carefully, his mouth hung open. When he realized she was looking at him- he immediately smiled, Chi smiling warmly back.

Suddenly, Daniel noticed an oddly shaped figure, standing at the top of the castle behind them. Suddenly- the shadowed figure hooked something onto the string of lights, starting to glide down the string yelling. "Behind you!" Daniel yelled- Chi attempting to run away, Chozen grabbed her firmly. Immediately, Daniel and Mr. Miyagi shot up, running towards the bridge. There was a sudden halt when the sound of metal clinking shocked the air, Daniel looking up to reveal a knife at Chi's throat. "STEP BACK!" he yelled, Chi fighting against his grip. "Chozen, don't do this! I was wrong. Hatred is wrong" Sato exclaimed, causing Chozen to snicker. "I am dead to you Uncle, remember?" he sneered, as Sato slightly stepped back. Daniel watched in horror as Chi fought against his grip,

Mr. Miyagi said something to Chozen, but it was all a blur to Chi. She tried everything. But, Chozen was too strong. She felt her chest compressing, feeling like no air was coming in and out of her lungs.

Wait a second.

That thing Mr. Miyagi was teaching Daniel. She remembered it vividly. "Step
back..." she muttered under her breath, Daniel only staring at her in fear. She pulled together all her might- and pulled Chozen backwards, flipping him to the side. Everyone gasped as Chozen lay on the ground, the knife flying off to the small canal. He yelled in anger before immediately getting up, throwing a punch to Chi. She blocked it- her pins coming undone. "Wait!" Daniel yelled, running onto the platform. Chozen immediately sprinted right past Chi- and rolled under Daniel, meeting the bridge. He immediately picked it up, and threw it over into the dam, an eruption of gasps coming from the crowd. Chozen immediately ran up to Daniel- swinging right at his stomach, causing him to double over in pain. He attempted to punch him again- but Chi threw a punch directly at his back- another one of Mr. Miyagi's lessons she had remembered. It caused the victim to feel as if they had just had all the wind knocked out of him. He gasped, falling over and hitting the floor. She then rushed over to Daniel, slowly standing up. Suddenly, she heard a large grunt of anger- and Chozen grabbed her, his hand moving up to her neck. Daniel stood up quickly, grunting in pain. Chi attempted to do the move she did before- but was blocked by a large force on her right leg. She must have injured it without even realizing. Chozen swung her around- to look her directly in the face, and punched her hard- her falling to the ground. Mr. Miyagi shook his head, Chi laying on the ground- now holding her burning leg. It felt like a knife went right through her knee. Daniel trudged over to Chozen, giving him a dismaying look. "Fights over here." Daniel stated, sending a punch to his face. Blood gushed everywhere, Chozen stumbling back in shock. Meanwhile- Chi was still on the ground, holding her leg in pain. And now her vision- the only tool she had left, was slowly going away- the force from the punch causing her eye to be almost swollen shut. Meanwhile- Daniel had just been thrown into the statue, blood covering his face. Chozen sneered, laughing loudly. Daniel felt as if he couldn't breathe- blood trailing down his face from all directions. Suddenly- the sound. The sound of that same drum. Mr. Miyagi showed him it. It was a punching technique. Chi slowly raised her hand- the pain from her leg slowly taking her whole body. But she recognized this sound. She looked up to Daniel, staring as all the drums hit each side of the soft platform, over and over. She hoped he would recognize it too. Suddenly- Chozen, who had also become distracted by the drums- turned his head back to Daniel, ready to punch him again. But Daniel brought tension to his whole body, readying his arms. Chozen was about to blow right through Daniel's face- but Daniel blocked it, while sending a punch to the opposite side of his cheek. Chozen attempted again- only to make the same move. Daniel gasped for air, grabbing Chozen's neck as he fell to the ground. "Live or die, man?" he pardoned, the whole crowd gasping yet again. "Die." Chozen stated firmly, blood still running down his face. Chi's mouth hung open, as Daniel brought his hand down. He stopped it right before his face- causing Chi to smile, immediately knowing what he was going to do. "Wrong!" he yelled, then grabbing Chozen's nose. "Honk!" The whole crowd cheered, Daniel releasing Chozen- and him falling over in pain. Chi looked up to him slowly- as he stared down at her, smiling brightly, blood still trailing down his nose. He carefully kneeled down by Chi- slowly embracing her in a hug, as she did. The people continued to cheer, Mr. Miyagi proudly standing there. Chi embraced him more- thinking this hug could last a lifetime.

It was perfect.
