Daniel finally met Chi by the door, them both motioning bye to Mr. Miyagi. They stepped outside... Chi taking in the fresh breeze. She then looked up to Daniel- who was staring off to the middle of nowhere, his legs mindlessly moving on the steaming pavement. "So why do you wanna re-enter?" she finally asked, Daniel being cut out of his trance. He sighed. "Feel like if I made history once, I could do it again. Y'know? Karate makes me feel..." there was a long pause. "Special." Chi frowned sympathetically. Daniel sighed deeply. "Well you know..." she started, stopping Daniel in his tracks. "You make me feel special." she smiled, landing a kiss on his cheek. Daniel immediately blushed, cashing Chi to chuckle. "Still can make you blush." she laughed, Daniel chuckling. Daniel then took her hands- leaning in, their lips meeting gently. He pulled away slowly- the sounds of cars filling the background. "You're sure right. And believe me... you make me feel very special." He said, a large smile forming on Chi's face. They began to walk across the street, hand in hand.

Daniel carefully opened the door to the pottery shop, Chi walking inside. Chi slowed her pace to study an older man, painting some sort of mural across the wall. Daniel stood next to her... doing the same. After a long second- the sound of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" started playing in the room in front of them. Chi and Daniel walked through the door, studying the scenery. There were some plants and a TON of pots, all lined across multiple shelves. More murals were painted on the wall, the radio glitching for a second. They took a step forward to see a girl, with bright red hair- molding some clay on a turntable. For a second- they watched her, until she realized that someone was there. She immediately smiled, motioning for someone to turn the radio off. Daniel rushed over to it- switching it off, as the girl slowly wiped her hands. "Hi!" she greeted, shaking both of our hands. She walked over to her small desk area, us following. She then carefully picked up a small notepad. "What can I do for ya?" she asked, now only staring at Daniel. Chi glanced at her oddly, as she only had her attention on Daniel. "Well we're actually here to buy some pots..." Chi started, the girl only glancing at Chi for a second. Daniel looked over to Chi- giving her a look that also confirmed what Chi was thinking. She sighed under her breath. "Well?..." the girl asked, scrunching her eyes. "Pots for bonsai?" he asked, her face lighting up at the sound of his voice. Chi bit her lip. "Ah yeah! You guys are the place around the street, yea?" she asked, grabbing a notepad on her desk. "Yeah, Mr. Miyagi's Little Trees." Chi responded. Again- the girl's eyes only lingered on her for a second, before turning back to Daniel. "Well welcome to the neighborhood!" she exclaimed, jotting something down on her paper. The girl chuckled to herself. "Yeah. I love bonsai. So perfect..." she paused, looking Daniel up and down. "Jesus..." Chi muttered under her breath, the girl's attention now completely on Chi. "You say something?" she asked, causing Chi to freeze. After a long second, Chi chuckled awkwardly. "Nothing. But anyways... maybe a design on the pot?" Chi asked, The girl nodding slightly- jotting something else down on her notepad. "K..."
she said, looking up to Daniel in the middle of writing. Daniel sighed- immediately looking over to Chi. "Now names?" she swooned, batting her eyelashes at Daniel. Daniel sighed. "Daniel. Daniel Larusso."
she nodded, a large smirk on her face. Chi tapped her fingers on her thigh impatiently. "You?" the girl then asked, not even looking at Chi. Chi plastered on a fake smile. "Uh... Churasan. Miyagi. But Chi for short." The girl bite her lip, in an obvious attempt to hold back a laugh. Chi shook her head slightly. Daniel scoffed under his breath. As he did- the girl looked up to him, batting her eyelashes yet again. "Now I'm Jessica. Jessica Andrews in case you wanna know." she smirked, Chi starting to rub her shoulders. Chi didn't usually lose her temper easily- but this girl had her on EDGE. Jessica jotted one more thing down- but at the bottom of the page, tearing it off. She stuffed it in her pocket and began to write at the top again. Chi awkwardly tapped her foot as Jessica jotted away, Daniel whistling. Chi looked up to him. Daniel only started whistling when he felt weird. Chi glanced at a picture on her desk. "That you...?" Chi asked, in an attempt to break the awkwardness. Jessica gave her a not super welcoming look- before looking up to Daniel again, her eyes aglow. "Yeah. Actually a professional." She said, waiting for Daniel to react. Daniel chuckled oddly. "Uh- Cool!... Anyways, got a design?" he asked, Jessica's eyes still locked on him. Suddenly, the sound of a man yelling came from outside. She scoffed- as if the yelling was the cops at a fun party. "Listen..." she started, digging through her pocket. Daniel winced. She handed him the piece of paper- Daniel giving her an awkward smile. Chi was now MOST definitely on edge. She batted her eyelashes again. "Call me." she stated flirtatiously. Daniel only chuckled awkwardly again, slowly scrunching up the paper. "And uh... here." she said, handing Chi the piece of paper she had been scribbling on. Chi and Daniel studied the design. Even though they both already knew the situation... they had to admit, her design was good. Daniel smiled- opening his mouth to say something, until the yelling from the man arose again. Jessica sighed deeply. She looked up to Daniel. "Call me for..." there was a pause. "Extra info..." she stated, with a wink. Daniel only stared at her- completely dumbfounded, Chi standing there- her mouth hanging open. They both walked out of the room, frozen in the state they were in. The man rushed past them into the pottery shop as they left. They walked down the hallway... an awkward silence filling the air. Daniel immediately took the piece of paper out of his hands- and gave it to Chi. She chuckled under her breath. They walked out the door- the sound of honking only adding to the silence. "Jeez..." Daniel started, taking her hand as they crossed the road. "I think she needed to take a hint..." he said, Chi giggling sweetly. They made it to the other side of the road, Daniel turning to her. "Listen i'm sorry that happened honestly you know I love..." Chi leaned in quickly, kissing him passionately... yet gently. She pulled away- a bright smile on Daniel's face. "I know. Don't worry." she laughed, flashing a toothy grin. Daniel sighed in relief., as they kept walking. "You know her design is good though..." Chi claimed, starting to study the image again. They made it to the steps. "I agree..." Daniel said, opening the door for her. "But I'll let you do the talking." he added, chuckling lightly as Chi did- walking into the room. Now- Mr. Miyagi was holding a long pair of scissors, sniping again at a very bushy tree. The one he was working on before- was now sitting on display, shiny wires wrapped around the roots. "We got her to do the design..." Chi started, setting down her bag. "Ah. Ehh..., neighbor nice?" He asked, causing Daniel and Chi to laugh. "We're definitely not gonna be the closest of friends, to say the least..." Daniel started his voice trailing off... Chi laughed at Daniel's sarcasm, before Mr. Miyagi clicked his tongue against his mouth. "Ah. Miyagi understand. Ahh... pot anyway?" he asked, a large piece of the bonsai tree flinging off. "Yeah. But I'm gonna let Chi take care of it." he said, looking over to her with a warm smile. She blushed- Daniel walking up to her, planting a gentle kiss on her cheek. "Yep." she replied, grinning brightly. Mr. Miyagi smiled proudly. Daniel then walked over to his desk- Chi starting to sort through some unfinished bonsai. Daniel looked at the unsigned karate tournament paper with a large sigh. Chi looked over her shoulder, a frown forming on her face. "You didn't sign it." Daniel stated, starting to tap his finger on the desk. An awkward silence filled the room. "Why not?" he asked, biting his lip. Chi moved to start a new tree- sniping away patiently. Daniel became quickly impatient- running his fingers through his hair. "I understand your feelings on this- but you have to understand mine. This is one of the best things that happened to me. I'm proud of my title. Why can't I defend it?" he questioned, Chi looking at him empathetically. She knew how Mr. Miyagi would answer- and after a long pause, Mr. Miyagi looked over his shoulder, staring Daniel right in the eyes. "Daniel-san. No answer Miyagi have. Bonsai have answer. Just like bonsai in tree, answer in... you." he said, causing Daniel to sigh again. "I'm confused. I have the chance to be a champion again. All I have to do is put my signature on it." he stared staring at the letter. Chi turning around in her seat to face Daniel. "Or you can put a match to it? Let your confusion go up in smoke." she said, smiling warmly. Daniel gave her a confused look, as Chi turned back to her trees "Actually, I was going to come here later. Maybe wanna do some more bonsai's with me?" he asked, Chi turning back around. A large smile was placed on her face. Her and Daniel enjoyed spending hours talking, snipping away at the delicate trees. "Sounds great! We have a lot of work to do anyway." she replied, glancing over to the table full of bonsais. Daniel nodded, as Mr. Miyagi placed down his scissors gently. "Must go home. Sun setting. I leave key under mat for you two." he said, picking up a small toolbox. Together, they all walked out, the sun setting gently in the background.
