For some reason, you've always felt watched.

"That'll be eight pounds, seventy-five pence, please."

There was no telling why it was that way.

"Thanks." You said, taking the plastic bag from the smiling cashier's hands.

You didn't know why.

"Have a nice day." She chirped happily, stunning, blue eyes locking onto your back as you turned on your heel and exited the small store.

The weather was quite mild for an autumn day. You could feel a slight breeze caressing your cheeks as you wandered, ruffling through your hair and causing your coat to snap gently with the minute force. The streets were fairly empty - it was a Monday. Only the occasional car passed on by, rumbling down the thick, newly-laid, tarmac road.

You had watched it being built this past summer. The builders had been working away under the summer sun, drenched in their own sticky sweat. The machines they used had created noise that was just so horrendous; so dreadful, you really didn't like to have to pass by. Though you had to in order to get to lectures and to the store. There was no avoiding it, but thankfully those days had passed.

Just as you swiftly turned the corner, starting off down the road your university halls building was located on, your phone began to ring. You stepped to one side in order to not clog the thin walkway, putting your plastic bag down onto a nearby bench. As quick as you could, you fished your phone out of your coat pocket and answered the blaring call.

"Hey, Koala." You greeted with a smile, addressing your friend.

"Hey! You alright?" She asked happily, always in a good mood.

You envied her for it.

You nodded to no one in particular, almost like she was there to see it. "Yeah, I'm good. Something up?"

"Ah, actually I was just going to ask if you want to come to the library with me and Sabo. He's been going on and on complaining about this essay he has to do, so I'm dragging him out to do it."

Laughing, you folded your free hand under your armpit. This street was a little less sheltered than the last and you found the winds to be biting, making you shiver. Maybe mild wasn't the correct word for today's weather.

Though, on that thought, you didn't know whether to blame the weather for the chill or the feeling of being watched that lingered.

"Typical Sabo. But yeah, I'll come along."

"Great!"

Picking your bag up once more, you started to stroll. You could see your building from where you stood, which meant warmth at last.

Hopefully no creeping feeling, either.

"I could ask Law if he wants to come?" You suggested, thinking of your other friend upon seeping his old BMW sat outside.

He must've just gotten back because it wasn't there when you left.

"Ooh, okay. Do," she mused from the other end. "Well, I guess I'll see you then. Later, (Y/n)!"

"Buh-bye."

Finally turning into the lobby, you let out a sigh. One big gust of warmth engulfed you, leaving you feeling a lot more toasty than before. You continued on through to the lifts, giving a nod to some of your fellow students hanging around the social space.

To one side, there was a large sitting area with multiple sofas all facing each other. The arrangement was an attempt at making things more social, along with the few tables around the place. To the other side, there were some games of such. There was a large television hooked up to PlayStations and even a pool table; it definitely the most popular area. Off the lobby there were a good few rooms for study, a few more doors to add to that.
