"Are you sure you're alright?" Law asked with a grimace, watching as you filled up what was to be your fifth glass of water in ten minutes.
"I'm sure." You lied simply, wincing as the bright lights of the kitchen invaded your senses.
The afternoon out with Bartolomeo had truly crushed you. As nice as it was, you were consequently graced with the hangover of a lifetime. Your head was banging and you were exhausted beyond belief. At least you knew it would be at least a week until you looked in the direction of alcohol once more.
"Uhuh." He murmured, still cringing at you. "You shouldn't have gone mad."
"I couldn't help it." You replied after finishing the entire glass, placing it down into the open dishwasher.
Before Law came in, you had been doing the dishes because someone with the name of Eustass Kid didn't know how to put his dishes in the dishwasher. You were planning on making it clear to him that if he did it again, you'd be stacking them outside his door instead.
"Was that because the drinks weren't on you?"
You reached up to draw the blinds a little for comfort, shaking your head. You wouldn't do that to Bartolomeo. "Not at all. I guess I just didn't realise how much I drank."
"He is an interesting guy." Law muttered quietly; so quietly you didn't hear.
You had been telling Law about Bartolomeo and what you were up to yesterday. To be honest, you weren't all that surprised when your friend told you that he was vaguely familiar with the punk. Law knew a lot of people, funnily enough. Probably because he had lived in this city a lot longer than you had. Not like he knew Bartolomeo on a personal level, though.
"Speak of the devil." Law then said, earning a hum from you as you then turned around with a frown on your face.
"I've been looking for you."
With a grin on his face, into the kitchen strode Bartolomeo. His bright hair wasn't styled for once, flopping lazily into what you could only call curtains. Considering he was wearing grey joggers and a white t-shirt, you could see he was having a bit of a lazy day. Well, except from the fact he had his laptop under one arm.
You smiled in return, leaning against the counters. You couldn't help but let your eyes wander - the shirt strained around his toned muscles rather nicely. "You okay?"
"Kinda." He chuckled, offering a friendly nod to Law, who did one in return with more of a frown. The raven haired man was tall, but as the men stood next to each other, you were beginning to realise just how huge Bartolomeo was. "Can I ask you a favour?"
"Ask away." You chimed, watching as his lips stretched into an ever bigger grin.
Patting his laptop in gesture, he started to explain. "I was gunna ask if you could look my essay over. Y'know, have someone see it with fresh eyes."
"I can do that." You nodded and wandered forward, right before you looked over at Law. "Law, I'll see you later."
Your friend then watched as you trotted back off to your bedroom, Bartolomeo in tow. The green haired punk turned briefly and offered Law a guilty smile.
"Sorry man."
The raven shook his head. "Fine by me."
With that, the kitchen finally emptied.

Your room was already small, but felt even smaller with Bartolomeo inside of it. Even when he was sat on the floor, he still took up a lot of space. The man was cross legged with his back against your bed, looking around the place idly. You were sitting on top of your bed with his laptop in front of you, checking over his work like you said you would.
