The lecture hall was slowly starting to empty, leaving you, Koala and your professor all the way down at the front.

"Good day, girls." He called up with a grin, leaving you to turn and offer him something of an awkward smile. Professor Donquixote was creepy enough that you wouldn't be surprised if it was him who was watching you.

Though he liked to teach Marketing enough to know not to risk his job.

"Man, it's been one long day." Koala groaned, stretching her arms above her head.

You hummed in agreement. "I'll say."

The two of you stepped out into the huge corridor, your footsteps echoing. The building for Economics, Marketing, Finance and Management was extremely old and probably one of the oldest, along with the other Liberal Arts buildings. Not only that, but it was difficult to navigate until you finally got the route down to a fine science. Even that had taken you years.

"Oh yeah, did you know there's a new bakery on Mangrove Street?" Koala asked with a bright smile.

"Really?" You said, watching her nod in excitement.

"Yeah! I don't have time to go today but if you get the chance, please let me know what it's like."

"I will." You assured her with a smile as you pushed open the next set of doors.

The doors lead off to a more communal courtyard area, but of course you had a way to go until you were out of campus. You and Koala found yourselves chatting away as you wandered, not paying too much mind to the things around you. In fact, you were so oblivious to your surroundings that you didn't realise a certain someone had walked through a pair of doors to your right.

Well, you didn't until they called out.

"(Y/n)!"

The familiar voice drew your attention, Koala's along with it. Your brows were knitted until you noticed through the shining sun that it was Bartolomeo grinning away at you.

His smile was almost as bright as the sun itself - sharp teeth and all.

"Oh hey!" You called, trotting up to him.

You found yourself instantly being pulled in for a hug, his arms resting down around your waist. He smelt quite like pine forests and cinnamon and you could hear his heart drumming against your cheek; your darkening cheeks. After a few seconds he pulled away, keeping his arm around your waist. He looked down at you with those crimson eyes as they glittered away in the light.

Not only that, but you noticed he had his vibrant hair in a similar style to the one you had done on him yesterday. There was something quite charming about the thought. He really seemed to take note of those little things.

Attentive, was the word you were looking for.

"You alright?" He asked, earning a nod from you.

You cast your eyes up toward Koala as she offered Bartolomeo a small wave. "Yep, I was just walking back with Koala."

"Oh, am I interrupting?" He quizzed, giving your friend and apologetic smile.

You watched as your friend looked between the two of you. Her gaze finalised on you, her lips slowly twitching up. Just by that, you knew exactly what she was insinuating. Your skin felt hotter by the millisecond and you slowly shook your head.

"No, it's okay." She hummed innocently before waving away. "I'll see you later, (Y/n)! Have fun!"

The glare you sent her back was fiery, though it didn't stick for long. Bartolomeo slid his arm from around you and instead offered it up for you to hold. Hesitantly, you did. You gently held his arm as he slid his hands in his pockets, presumably to keep them warm. He always did it, but it was notably cold today despite the sun.
