Table for Two

As we were handed our food, Camilo just started to eat. But you stared at your food blankly. There was no way you could eat when you were about to tell him the news.

"y/n..?" Camilo asked bluntly.

"Hm?" you reply.

"Can I... ask you something..? He said with his eyes full of...passion.

"For sure.." you trailed off.

"Go ahead." you give a smile.

"y/n, I think we both know that we've been in a relationship for quite some time... and I don't see any progress...," he continued.

You actually couldn't believe it was happening! He was breaking up with you! Finally, you could be free... you started dreaming of the wonderful life you were about to have.

But of course, that was too good to be true. Come to find out, this guy was ready to get a little heated if you know what I mean. You mentally face palmed myself. Are we having fun yet? "When will this relationship END. Also, this food tastes like ass." you wondered. Then you realized...

Fine. If he wasn't gonna end it, then you were.

"Camilo, can I tell you something?" you questioned.

"Sure, Bonita," he replied. You took a deep breath and started. As he looked at you with the most thoughtful and genuine smile, a wave of guilt washed over you.

What were you supposed to do... Tell him you don't feel the same way and leave him in the dust, or just suck it up and tell him another time.

I'm pretty sure all of you know what you did next. But if there's one thing you should know about yourself, it's that you'd like to put others' happiness above your own. So you were like:

"Nothing really important," you continued.

"Just that I'm worried about the surprise you got me, amor."

Camilo chuckles.

"No worries, but I will give you a hint..." he trailed off.

"It's a confession of my love to you... it's really romantic, and I just know you're gonna love it." he finished. You quickly gave a confused look at him before forcing a smile and laughing it off.

"Well, I just know I'm gonna love it," you reply. Just then, we heard sounds of music coming from inside the Casita, and we ran inside.

"I have to go greet everyone, but you're more than welcome to go inside," Camilo said. You walked in and saw the whole house decorated for Antonio's gift ceremony. Just then, you knew tonight was going to be
