its called DEVOTION sweetheart

The sunlight of the charmed village beat down on you, and you felt so blissful, tanning in the morning sun. The red tiles on the rooftop were comforting you, as you slowly drifted off to sleep, until you heard a vaguely familiar voice.

"Bonita?" the voice said.

You looked down from the rooftop to see the one and only Camilo Madrigal calling for you. You slowly got down from the roof and saw him.. He was holding a bouquet of flowers, specifically lilacs, your favorite kind.

"These are for you~" Camilo said with the intent to seduce you.
"I love them.." you trailed off.

"Something wrong, y/n?" he said, turning my face to him. You shook your head.

"No, but do you always have to be...traditional.." you said groaningly.

You tried your very best to make him disinterested and leave but to NO avail.. Seriously, what was WRONG with him, ugh..

"Only when I wanna be.." He says while smirking.

You two just stared at each other, him with a smirk, and you with an awkward smile.
"So.. why are you here again?" you ask.
"Cmon, don't forget, el cariño!" Camilo snickers quietly.
"It's Antonio's gift ceremony tonight!!" Camilo jumps up.
"Right!" you fake smile.

 
Now pause. Before you call yourself a bad girlfriend, he has literally told you about his Hermano's gift ceremony, since Day 1 at this point. You two have already gone through what's gonna happen, what you two will wear, and what you two will do. At this point, you're really sick and tired of him going on and ON about this.

 
But you force a smile and say:
"Can't wait!!"
Yes, please do NOT call yourself out for being cringy, you're aware. But his unpredictableness makes it super difficult to keep stuff from him... Swear that guy can read you like a book.

"Well, I should get ready... See ya tonight encantadora!!" Camilo kisses your hand and strolls away.

You're pretty sure you know by now that you're absolutely dreading being in this relationship. So you devised a plan. You would get to the party early, softly break up with him and tell him you two were better off friends, enjoy the party, and your life is pretty much fixed after that...
