I'm not gonna pretend I'm as invested in their dynamic as I am with Felix and Pepa's (neither will the Encanto fandom), but I do think their dynamic is perfect.
Just. The very concept of well meaning tortured man who gets hurt constantly x passionate chef girl who literally heals with food, is so good it makes me wanna give everyone who worked on Encanto a kiss on the cheeks.
Also, I want to see more concept art of how they met, like maybe Augustin got injured SO BAD, like to a comical degree, that the minute Julieta met him she was just like "This man is the most unlucky individual on this earth and I must protect him from further harm."
I feel like that's probably what happened.
Also can I just say, I love the dad.
He's just such a funny character and kind guys that constantly get tortured for no reason are always really likable to me for some reason?
The mom's sweet too. I love both of them.
Also once again? Their kids? Perfect. Beautiful.
I know this is relatively short to the last one, but I don't have much to say about this ship. It's a simple sweet ship, with a great dynamic. Once again, I wish I could've seen more of them, but hey, this is still Mirabel's movie.
10/10. No actual complaints, once again.
