Chapter 10

As I flush the toilet after throwing up for the seventh day in a row I realize that I am probably pregnant. I started hiding my scent from everyone when I started throwing up for no reason the first day. All day I was running to the bathroom. If I hadn't already been through this with Rose and Alex I might have thought it was something I ate. My heat ended weeks ago and look at me now. Goddess Elara is sure to be happy.

When I step out the bathroom I remember we are going to go pick up Johan's corset from his father. I can ask Talia if she knows a good doctor. I'd prefer a pack OBGYN to a human OBGYN because they are more knowledgeable about how our bodies work with all the magic that is involved.

I get dressed and head downstairs to greet everyone and I'm lucky the smell of the food didn't make me nauseous. "Ready to go?" I ask standing at the door.

"We were just waiting for you to come down. Elijah is in the car already." Johan says.

I walk with him to the car and opt to sit in the back. The last time I was pregnant motion sickness was an issue for me. I just want to hide it long enough for me to get to the OBGYN. Male wolves finding out they have a pregnant mate is not what I want to deal with in public.

"How is training going?" I ask settling into my seat.

"More people than I thought were happy about it. They wanted to be able to help protect their families. I found out that most families wanted to train but didn't know if it was ok." Elijah says.

"Why wouldn't it be ok?" I ask

"Apparently, some of the alphas in the pack have been telling them that since they weren't alphas, training wasn't for them because they are weak." Johan says, shaking his head.

"No offense Elijah but how could you not see this happening? I mean it was quite obvious to me when I dealt with Anna." I say rubbing my stomach to try to calm it down.

"I don't have an excuse except that I just took over the pack three years ago. Nobody said anything but I should've known just by Chad alone. Don't worry though, I'm going to correct that soon. I'm already getting rid of the troublemakers." He says as he pulls up in front of the Bedroom to Broomsticks.

We get out of the truck and go into the store. Talia is behind the counter and smiles when she sees its us. "I didn't know what time you were coming. TREVOR!!! THE KIDS

ARE HERE!!" she yells.

"Woman we're wolves, you don't need to yell." He says as he comes down carrying Johan's corset.

"I know. I just felt like it." She says being cheeky.

"Fine be that way. Johan come try this on so I can be sure it fits." He says walking to the back of the store.

We follow him back and Johan takes the corset from his dad and puts it on. Trevor moves behind him to help him with it when Elijah says, "Let me do it Trevor."

Trevor looks surprised but moves. I watch as Elijah moves Johan's hair to the side and his fingers move swiftly to tighten the laces. He gives the laces a final tug and ties them.

Johan turns to Elijah and presses his hand to his cheek.

These are my mates. Johan with his white hair and beautiful teal eyes. Elijah with his thick golden ombre hair that most would describe as a dark blond. It's not though. It's a darker golden color that lightens as it goes to the tips. His eyes are the color of gold and get a shine when Eli is here. With a strong jawline and large mouth with sumptuous lips. He's the gold to Johan platinum.

I'm interrupted from my thoughts when Trevor says, "I'm glad they figured it out."
