'There's no way in hell I'd allow such!'

'I agree with Riker, donating your kidney in this condition is a brainless idea.' Tiago helped Riker's case.

'Do you not care about your twin brother? I'm trying to save his life.' I told him.

'At the expense of yours!?' Johnny wasn't one to stand back.

'It's not like I'm going to die. 'Sword of demise' my foot. I've survived worse things.' I told them.

'I'm the doctor here and I'll tell you otherwise.' Doc Garcia added.

Megan hysterically cleared her throat riling up silence and allowing herself the opportunity to speak out. 'Okay you guys are not being fair to Daisy.' I was glad to have someone supporting me.

'Who's side are you on?' Johnny asked.

'I'm neutral' She replied making me glare at her.

'Listen, Daisy really cares about Eldon and she's the only one here who can actually do something about his condition because she's a compatible donor. However, babe your condition is deteriorating and without the six herbs donating may put you in a coma or even worse.' Megan had told me that Tiago had donated one kidney already a year ago.

'So what are you saying?' I spoke to the only person reasoning in the room.

'Let's wait 'till we treat you with the six herbs and then decide together after we monitor your response to the medication.'

'Six herbs?' My dad finally said something. Johnny who seemed more up to date with all that had been happening explained it to him.

We sat around the dining table in our chalet as they discussed my situation. They had made a decision for me without my approval. Although I wasn't as mad because Megan had come up with the solution. Everyone had found out that I was going to donate my kidney to Eldon and they instantaneously called a meeting.

The conversation took a left as people started to discuss about the rare Chinese medicines and the visit we'd pay to the Santos. I stood from the table heading for my room that I shared with Megan.

'Where are you going?' Riker asked polite as ever.

'My room, I'm exhausted.' I pretended to yawn until I wasn't pretending anymore. I was really worn out.

'Let me help you.' I tried to deny but he was already by my side helping me to walk. When we were away from prying eyes, he wrapped his hand around my legs and swept me off my feet. I yelped at his unexpected gesture. He smiled at me pulled me closer to his chest.

'I'm really sorry about earlier, I should've taken your side.' Riker said.

'Let's not talk about that it's giving me a headache.' I told him. My head did really ache.

'I might have something for that.' He pulled out a pack of pain killers and had me take some. When I asked why he walked around with pain killers he replied. 'I've been having frequent headaches lately so Garcia gave me these.'

'The back injury?'

'Yeah it's taking a toll on me but I'm recovering well.' He assured me.

'Is the scar still showing?' I was curious. He turned around and dared me to see for myself. I sat on the bed and slowly lifted his white tee. The slash across his back was still there as prominent as ever. It was a brown scar that tainted his white skin.

I traced my careful fingers along the line it formed then I lightly pressed into it. Riker hissed.

'Does is still hurt?'
