"Why don't you step aside?" Tom said.
The cop backs away in fear and began to aim his gun at Tom. "Aim at the purple suspect!" The cop said as all other cops began aim towards at Tom.
"Oh great, cover me some time to heal her then!" I said. "Not a problem." Tom said as he began to walk towards the cops. "Ready..!" The cop added. Tom began to run towards them and cops began to fire at him.
"Reality Swap!" Tom said as he teleported behind one cop. One by one, he appeared behind each one and knocked out every single cop.
"Not my best idea but hey... there's no blood involved." Tom said.
"And in the nick of time, she's all healed up." I said. "Wait where's Camille?" I added. "She's inside the store getting snacks." Tom said as he pointed inside.
One cop managed to wake up and grab his gun from the floor and aims toward us. A gunshot was heard, everything felt numb, my mind went blank... I look down and see a gun wound in my chest, right on the heart.
Everything moved slowly in m perspective, I saw Tom reach out to me while Camille dropped her snacks and sprinted to the cop.
"Kill him!!" Tom yelled. "Dark Heart!" Camille said as she tapped the cop on his shoulder.
The cop fell to the ground, foam coming out of his mouth, eyes rolled back, and his back being contorted viciously.
"Shit, we need to take him to the hospital, he's passed out!" Tom said as he carried me into the air.
"Is he breathing?! Is his heart beating?!" Camille asked. Tom puts his ear on my chest. "He's breathing, but it's slowing down quickly!" Tom said.
We arrive at the hospital we went before and they attended us very quick and performed surgery to remove the bullet.
I awakened in a hospital room with a sharp pain in my chest. I remove the everything that was connected to me and proceeded to walk of the room, not noticing Tom, Sean, and Camille were sleeping in there.
"Hey Max, stay in the room, you still need recovery!" The same doctor who attended me before said.
I use my healing ability to fix myself and began to walk out of the building as night arrived.
"Is he up?" Sean said as woke up. "Guys he's gone!!" Sean added after realizing. "What?!" Tom and Camille said, bursting awake.
"Hey Doc, did Max leave?!" Camille asked. "Yeah, he just left the building." The doctor said.
"Sean, hold on!" Tom said as he grabbed him by his hands.
They sprint out and fly, trying to look for me. "Do you see him anywhere?!" Tom asked. "Nope, he's gone." Camille said. "No he's not, he's over there!!" Sean said as he pointed with his leg.
Tom and Camille quickly fly down to me and Sean stood infront of me making me stop.
"Max, where are you going!?" Sean asked. "To kill that fucking cop." I said, furious. "I killed him already!" Camille said. "And the rest of them?" I added. "Uh... no." Camille added.
"Max, the cops won't hurt us anymore, as long as we stay away from them, we'll be fine!" Tom said. "You saw them, I tried to help her, but they shot me instead, they tried to fucking kill me, FOR NO GOD DAMN REASON!!!" I said, full of anger towards those cops.
Suddenly a gunshot was heard...
We look behind us and see the sheriff shooting into the air.
"Are you the kid that saved this young lady?" The sheriff asked as the girl was next to him. "Yeah, why do you care?" I said.
