Agnes
Weekends have passed so fast na parang kahapon lang Friday tapos ngayon Monday na ulit. This week is the campaigning and voting of the students, then next week, dun na malalaman yung results. I also asked Jerome and he said yes. So I'm very happy that we're complete. We also started and adding plans and activities na mapoprovide namin para sa students. Of course we want it to be fun and educational. We have so many ideas. And I'm lucky to have 3 other smart creatures in my party list.
May ginawa kaming schedule para sa mga gagawin. Alternate ang naisip namin, kaya naman sila Jerome at Allysse ang nag tatrabaho at kami ni Xian ay nag papahinga.
"Agnes," he said looking at me.
"Yes?" I said.
"Diba isa sa pinaka malaking kumpanya dito sa Pilipinas ang hinahawakan ng parents mo?" He said and I nodded.
"I know where is this going," I said at humarap ako sa kanya "Nagtataka ka siguro kung bakit wala kaming driver, at kung bakit commuter kami, hindi kalakihan ang binabaon, di mamahalin ang mga gamit, o hindi English speaking." I said and he nodded. "Ayaw ni mama at papa na lumaki kami sa way na mayaman ang dating, ayaw kasi nilang masyadong mataas ang tingin namin sa sarili namin. Gusto nila, mabuhay kami ng normal, tulad nung mga normal na estudyante. Tsaka para matuto kami sa buhay at realidad."
"Wow," he said "You're amazing." He said and I smiled.
"Guys, gutom na ko, bili naman kayo ng foods." Allysse requested.
"Aba, ano kami utusan?" I said raising an eyebrow at her.
"Kayo naman po yung naka break time, kayo na po bumili!" Jerome said.
"Hindi patas yan." Sabi ni Xian. "To be fair, bato bato pik tayo, kung sino yung dalawang matalo sila yung bibili." He said and I smiled dahil kahit lumaki sya sa mayaman ay alam nya din pala yun. After that, the game begins.
"Ang init!" Jerome said whispering annoyed, dahil totoo naman, parang matutusta na ko sa init.
"Jerome, diba R yung middle name mo? Ano ibig sabihin non?" I asked habang nag lalakad kami papuntang fast food para bumili ng pagkain dahil madami pa kaming gagawin so we decided to buy foods, at kami ni Jerome ang na talo sa bato bato pik, kaya yun, nag lalakad kami sa initan at si Xian tsaka Allysse naman napaka sarap ng buhay dun sa may aircon.
"Reyes," he smiled at me "Didn't kuya Xian told you na mag pinsan kami?" He said. And I remembered when Xian said na cousin nya si Jerome.
"Close kayo?" I asked.
"Not really," then he opened the door for me. "But I bet close kayo. He always talks about you." Sabi nya at nagulat naman ako.
"Really? Eh ngayong year ko nga lang sya nakilala."
"No, he said you used to be friend when you two were younger. Also kuya Edward!" I nodded at naalala ko yung kinuwento ni mama, so it's clear, mag kapatid nga talaga sila. Pero di naman ni mama nabanggit si Edward ah. "At May tawag din sya sayo, some sort of a call sign, but I can't remember." He said thinking. "It's a flower.." He said at napatingin ako sa kanya.
"Excuse me? What did you say?" I asked.
"Dandelion! Yah! He used to call you that!"
"What?"
"Kuya Xian calls you Dandelion when you're younger." He said and smiled. I saw an image of a little boy who gave me a dandelion flower and say My Dandelion. Sumakit yung ulo ko bigla and random images started flashing on my head. The last thing I know, I looked at Jerome and everything turns black.
Xian
We're on the nearest hospital, it's me, Jerome, and Allysse, we never thought that this would happen to Agnes. Bago sila umalis, she seems fine at masigla. But what happened? Jerome has been saying na nag kekuwento lang daw sya tas nanahimik daw bigla si Agnes, tumingin pa daw sa kanya tapos bigla na lang nahimatay. No one knows the reason. Buti na lang Jerome contacted me immediately after what happened. We're trying not to panic even Allysse because non of us wants to make it worse. I called Mr. And Mrs. Malayas and they're on their way here. The doctor got out of the room at tumayo kaming tatlo.
"How is she?" Allysse asked. She's so worried about her sister, good thing nandito si Jerome to comfort her.
"She's fine, maybe sa sobrang init that's why she fainted, but she's fine." The doctor said and we sighed in relief.
"Can we see her doc?" I asked.
"Yes," he nodded. "Now, may you excuse me for a moment because I have an appointment." He patted my shoulder and smiled.
We entered the room and we saw Agnes peacefully sleeping. Alam mo yung feeling na pinag sisihan mo lahat ng ginawa mo. I don't know but I felt like I'm the one who did everything wrong.
After a few minutes, her parents arrived. "Xian, Jerome, you two should go home, it's been a long day, take a rest." Mrs. Malayas said rubbing my shoulder.
"Yes po. I'll just see you around, and I'm sorry again." I said and tita smiled at me.
"You don't have to be," I heard Mr. Malayas' voice "Thank you for being there when she needed you."
