He never forwards the same message to everyone. Each of his favorite people deserved a unique wish of 'happy new year's from him- that's what he believed.
To his family and his younger brother in China, to his bro Minghao in Seoul, to.. to Yunhee, he wrote heartfelt messages to all of them.
Words are easier to be sent in text than to be said face to face. But to his own surprise, he talks a lot to Yunhee, when she is in front of him, where according to his nature, he must have gotten shy some time.
Minghao didn't text back. Instead, Jun's phone buzzed from the incoming call from Minghao.
"Happy new year, Junnie!" He chirped.
Jun greeted him back and suppressed his yawn that was coming on the way. He looked at the clock, which had traveled past midnight.
"Have you eaten?", Minghao asked.
"Yes, I have. I just got home 15 minutes ago.." Jun said.
"Ummm from where, can I ask?", Minghao raised his voice in a suggestive tone.
"I was out with her.." Jun confessed.
"Oww student~~" The tease in Minghao's voice was so prominent that it made Jun laugh. But all of the things that were circling around Jun's brain didn't let the laughter last long.
"Minghao.." he called."Ok ok I'm not teasing. What's it?", He gave in.
"I didn't tell you one thing so far", Jun lowered his head, while he was sitting on the sofa, still hadn't changed his clothes.
"What is it?"
"Do you remember Yunhee? Min Yunhee from school? It's her whom I teach Chinese", he closed his eyes.
"What- WAIT. MIN YUNHEE? Min Yunhee from 9(B)? Chan's classmate? God Jun you-" he was cut off by Jun himself.
"I know. I was hopeless back then. Maybe I am now, too! But what can I do about it anyways?" Jun said, remembering his one and only school crush, well more than just a crush, who was currently meeting him twice or thrice a week.
"Does she know--"
"Are you crazy? I won't tell her ever. She might misunderstand and never want to see my face again.."
"God Jun", Minghao trailed off, "Listen, I know you're an adult and I have the right to make your own decisions, but listen to me this time. Leave before it's late, okay?"
His last words got pinned in his head.
"Hm arasseo! Now let me sleep please, I'm so tired", Jun stated.
Minghao understood that Jun didn't really want to continue this topic at his hour, "okay, good night!" And they hung up.

She knew if she would dug it up at that moment, she would have gone sleepless the whole night. Besides, she was tired and she indeed had a good time whole evening.
She quickly took her phone now and opened the Instagram. Searching up the name “Jin Yong” , she opened her profile finally.
