Chapter 27

Author's pov

Jungkook nervously checked his face when closed the door of the bathroom. His face was burning red. His hyungs were trying to set him up with Jia since he was too much of a coward to do that himself- not his words but his hyungs'. He knew both V and Jimin weren't coming, they weren't going to any retro cafe, it was just a plan to bring Jia to his room so that they could talk. 

His heart was beating furiously. Deciding to learn some topics to talk about, he started revising the lessons his hyungs had given him. He chuckled when he realized what he was doing. 3 years ago he had ghosted a girl and did not want to involve himself with anyone but Jia made him do things. Patting down his clothes, he slowly opened the door to see Jia had slept. 

He made her comfortable, covered her with blanket and decided to let her sleep. Talk could wait! Thinking that he went to the physiotherapist to get his muscles stretched so that he wouldn't face any physical difficulty during the tour.

On the other hand when Woo returned to her hotel room, she didn't find Jia inside, she wasn't in the bathroom either. Woo's heart worried. Jia was young and a little dumb to be honest. She could not say no to anyone and that had made Woo worry. So Woo called Suni unnie to ask if they had gone out like they had planned but they hadn't, Jia wasn't picking her phone, now Woo and Suni both were worried. They both started looking around in the rooms of the staff for the little girl when they met Jimin. Woo thought he was an epic flirt but he was a good person and that's what made her respect him so much. She decided to ask him, since Jia was close to BTS. 

"Jimin shii" Jimin stopped in his tracks and turned to face the girl who was as tall as him.

"Do you know where Jia, Man Jia is?" Woo shifted her weight from one foot to other continuously. He was insanely handsome, all of the BTS were.

Jimin didn't want anyone to disturb his friends, so he started thinking about some excuse that he could use when Suni noona came in worried.

"No one knows where she is" Her voice sounded very weak, he hadn't seen her like that in the last 5 years she had worked with them.

"Ahh, this girl gives me headache" Suni unnie rubbed her forehead. Jimin felt guilty, so he decided he would tell them.

"She is in Jungkook's room" He said in a slow voice. Both his noona's eyes widened. "Its not what you think. They are just talking" He hurriedly said and walked with them as the girls rushed towards Jungkook's room.

"This girl is in trouble" Woo noona said and Jimin gulped, trying to come up with an explanation.

"They just really like each other noona" He said trying to plead to them to not make a fuss out of this. He didn't want his brother to go through what he had- the pain of not getting the ones we love due to being an idol.

"Jimin shii, if someone finds out she was in Jungkook's room alone, people are going to talk" Suni noona's words were accurate like always but he needed them to understand that they should cut their sister some slack.

Suni worried her lip with her teeth, she knew that Jia and Jungkook liked each other, she wasn't naïve like the maknaes but Jia was the one who was supposed to tell this to the staff and not the opposite, if anyone found out before Jia says anything or before Jungkook says anything they both are going to be in trouble. 

"We already know that" Woo noona said. Aera unnie had pointed that out to her, she had been ok with that, people should have choice of who should they like or not. But not everyone thought like them.

"Some people in our staff do not like it" They reached the room, Jimin punched in the card and they saw Jia sleeping soundly and Jungkook was nowhere in the room. Suni was about to wake Jia up when a tired faced Jungkook entered the room. 

"Noona? Jimin hyung?" He questioned confused on seeing the three people in his room. Jia woke up due to the noise and shot up from the bed when she realized her surroundings. She sent a silent prayer that her unnies wouldn't make a big fuss. 

"Jia, to your room now" Suni unnie's voice was stern as Jia nodded and exited the room.

"Noona, please don't think about her like that, she is innocent" Jungkook said when he saw both noona's expression. Woo noona's eyes softened.

"We know that and that is why we sent her to the room first" Woo was cut off by Suni.

"Do you really care for her or are you going to ghost her like before?" Jungkook seemed taken aback by his noona's question. He knew what his noona was talking about, she had been with them since 2014 now, she knew almost everything about them. 

"No of course not, I really like her and care for her noona, even all of my hyungs know it. I am not going to ghost her of course" He had only lied about "all hyungs part" god spare him if Jin hyung came to know, he would make so much fun of Jungkook. Jungkook didn't need to pour sincerity out because what he felt for Jia was already making an impact on his words. 

Suni and Woo nodded and told him to be careful. He was going to be careful of course. He wasn't that careless teenager Jungkook anymore. Jimin stood with him, relaxed that someone from the staff cares about his little friend so much. But where was fun if not in teasing his younger brother?

"I really like her noona" Jimin imitated his maknae and Jungkook spit out some really bad curse words at him. Jimin chuckled when Jungkook showed him his middle finger.
