A/N: so lately this book has been getting more interaction than usual and it makes me so freaking happy?! it doesn't seem like a lot but it means so much to me so THANK YOU GUYS! I LOVE WHEN YOU GUYS COMMENT THEYRE SO FUN TO READ.

Florence's POV

From Hail 💜 : I won't be able to do this weekend either I'm sorry. maybe next time?

To Hail 💜: oh okay :( yeah, no problem!

I sighed before placing my phone down and covering my face with my hands. I've noticed for the last two weeks that Hailee has been almost.. distant. We went from hanging out four times a week to not hanging out at all. Ever since that night we were going to watch criminal minds, she's been acting differently and I don't know why.

My hands went from my face to the back of my head as I sat up and sighed again but loudly.

"Woah what's wrong with you?" Zach asked as he walked into the living room.

"Just..work stuff" I lied mumbling before looking at him tiredly. He nodded in response clearly indicating that he didn't really care about what my response would be.

"Speaking of work, I have to fly to Australia for the movie but I'm only going to be gone for like a week max" Zach explained while dragging a medium-sized luggage behind him. I raised an eyebrow at him,

"Right now?"

He nodded in confirmation.

"And you're just now telling me this?"

"I'm sorry honey. It was a last-minute decision on their part. They just told me this morning." He explained before kissing me on the cheek.

I nodded slowly not believing a single word but not giving enough care to fight him.

"Alright, well be safe okay?" I said softly

"Of course, I'll see you soon" And with that, he was out of the door. I looked around the now empty house I had to myself and decided I was going to invite someone over. I grabbed my phone and quickly dialed the number in,

"Scarlett you wanna come over?"

No One's POV

"So he just left again?" Scarlett questioned before pouring herself and Flo a glass of red wine.

"Yep. Work again I guess. I don't really know. I don't really pry." Florence sighs and takes a huge gulp which makes Scarlett raise an eyebrow but not say anything.

"Flo I love you and this is why I'm going to ask you this. As a friend who cares about you. I know you hate when people ask you this but, why are you still with him?"

Florence opens her mouth about to protest before Scarlett cuts her off,

"This has absolutely nothing to do with his age. I mean, Have you been happy with him? You've been complaining about how distant he's been and all that. The way you talk about him lately makes it seem like you want to end it"

Florence pauses taking in the older woman's words.

"It's fading"

"What is?" Scarlett asks
