Druig POV: 

We enter the main temple in the middle of the city to find a last-minute wedding being planned as expected Ikaris is looking frantic and in need of a chill pill and Sersi is looking beautiful showing everyone her dress.

In the middle of it all, Makkari and I were wisped away to get changed and help in whatever ways we can which for me wasn't a lot. Eventually all the eternals are gathered watching Sersi approach Ikaris, it's a beautiful moment between the couple which has everyone fawning over their love but all I can focus on is how amazing Makkari looks in her dress, I think she could tell I was distracted because she quickly tossed me an apple to ensure I was okay and concentrated on the ceremony at hand. I truly do love this girl.

Before I knew it Makkari, and I were back within the comforts of our room when I asked her.

D: Dear

M: Yes love

D: Can I ask you a question?

M: Of course, you can

D: Do you want to get married?

M: What...married... are you seriously proposing right now?

D: Yes? I get that it's a bit much for us, but I just thought I would ask, I guess I know my answer

M: No Druig wait

D: Hmm?

M: I want to get married, of course I love you, you just caught me off guard that's all

D: You want to get married?

M: Yes of course I do, the perfect way to show our love in our way

D: What do you want to do about the others?
M: I don't think I want to tell them

D: Ok we won't

M: You are ok with that?

D: Yes of course I am, you are the one who is friends with them I am more of an acquaintance

M: No, you're not, but I am glad you are good with it, I just don't think I am ready to have our entire relationship on display.

D: Then its settled we won't tell them when we get married, now when do you want to get married?

M: How about now?
