Who else is surprised? Two chapters in like 30 minutes!

Kingo POV:

I have been friends with Makkari since the beginning of our mission and can't believe I didn't notice it sooner. Druig and Makkari are in a relationship, if only for a few months, but they are definitely in a relationship.

Before I could ask how long they were boyfriend and girlfriend I saw the ring. And that told me everything I needed to know. I always thought they were perfect for each other but was against saying anything because I didn't want to make things awkward especially considering we all work together, but I guess it works for them.

I am so happy for them and when the time is right, I will let them know but I know they like their privacy.

Sersi POV:

As the hopeless romantic of the group I knew if any of us were to get together it would be me, I mean they all are too focused on earth, as much as I love the earth I also love Ikaris. I think Makkari and Druig would be an amazing couple though so maybe I should try and set them up?

I mean what's the worse that could happen?

So, this mission has three steps:

1. Convince Druig he likes Makkari

2. Convince Makkari she likes Druig

3. Get them to tell each other

Boom, that's an amazing plan, so step 1 Druig. As I walk calmly over to the bench in which Druig is sitting on people watching, because as much as I know he dislikes most of us, he loves the people of earth more than probably even me. "Hey Sersi, what's up?" he states simply still looking at a group of children playing some ball game. "Can't i just come and have a conversation with my friend?" I say trying to explain my presence

"Well, you can but you barely talk to me, so this is a bit odd" he looks at me

"Fine, you caught me, but I was just thinking about you and Makkari"

"What about me and Mak?" he asks me looking curiously at what I was going to say

"Well, I think you like her as more than friends," I say gauging his reaction

He laughs slightly "wow you caught me, how was I so obvious," he says sarcastically

"This is serious Druig"

"I know it is Sersi" he responds still laughing

And with that I walked away, his sarcasm is always so annoying, I guess we have to skip step 1 and move on to step 2
