chapter 3

I heard my parent wake my bother and I jumped out of bed snd started to brush my hair before they walk into my bedroom and I wanted to think I'm responsible for myself. When they walk in they saw me getting ready and they smiled and they walked out of bed bedroom and I put my hair in a nice light bun and I put on the dress and everything else and I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and everything that I need to do and I walked out of the bathroom and say my brother waited and he went in without saying excuse me.

I walked downstairs breakfast was ready and I sat down at the table waiting for my family. "So tris are you ready for the choosing ceremony?" I shook my head, yes and I will say something after I'm done chewing my food up. "Yes I'm so ready for today and I've never been so nervous in my life before." They look at me and they never thought I will say that and I guess they were looking for a different answer.

I looked back down at my food and just ate and I sat there waiting for everyone to be done so we can walk to the choosing ceremony. Everyone was getting up and we put dishes in the sink and started walking to the building to see where life takes us and I was super nervous I didn't want our parents to be disappointed in us. I just kept on looking down so I don't make eye contact with everyone and when we got o the city circle I looked up.

I saw every single faction walking tp the building in the middle and I saw dauntless running I wish I can be like them but I didn't wanna my parents to be mad at me for choosing them but it's my life and they can't stop me from choosing dauntless but I got to make a good choice for myself but I don't know if  its the right choice for me

I got tapped my brother and he shook his head now and I looked back don't and I looked at my feet and I saw that was heading up to the choosing ceremony and I was scared and my stomach was knotting up and I was looking up and  I saw a lot of people walking the stirs and I wanted to the elevator bt mt parents insist this is shorter but I don't know and I gotta think about my parent's buts it's my life. I was looking up when I was going up the stairs and I wanted  to be happy 

When I saw the factions they were separated in factions and sat where abnegation was and I wanted to stay here but I wanna live a different life that's all I want. I sat in the third row and looked at the bowels where it has all the action things that were important and I wanna make the right choice for me. My parents  came and sat with me and my brother last because they were talking to the leader in each faction and  I'm surprised they were talking to the dauntless leader snd he looks so scary 

Everyone sat down and we waited for a couple of minutes and the erudite leader came on the stage and we looked at her the room was so quiet.  You could hear a pencil drop if you drop something on the floor. My legs were shaking so bad. "Welcome everyone and we are so happy that each faction came together today. The faction system has worked for years ever since the war broke out. So this is a new beginning for the next generation to become our young adults." She kept on talking for a hile and i just wanna get it done and over with
