chapter 4

"But is our faction before our family blood and your new faction will be your new family and you gotta forget old family and be proud of what faction you pick."She smiles as she said that and I knew she was happy that she was from that faction she was pretty and smart. "So let's start now and it's your choice and choose what you where you want to go and don't let anyone choose for you." She left the stage and everyone was clapping and the leader from amity started to call names 

I was so scared when she is going to call my name but I'm at the bottom of the list and I knew I was the very last kid to get to choose where I wanna go and live the rest of my life. I had to calm down before I go up there and my brother didn't look worried at all and I bet he is going to choose here and I knew my brother well. I saw a dauntless born come and pick abnegation and I bet the parents were happy about that all I looked over at dauntless and they were shocked and I never expect that.

I looked at the bowls and I was looking at amity and dauntless and I dom know what I'm going to do at all. I heard my brother came and he went done and chose abnegation. I knew I was right and he came back up where he was sitting and now it's my turn. "Tris lay." I looked at my parents and they nodded at me and I went down and I grabbed the knife and I change my plan and I was the amity bowl and but I at the last second I chose dauntless.  "Dauntless" Everyone face from abnegation was shocked and they had tears coming down their faces and dauntless was cheering for me  

I had no choice so I went with my gut I wanted to be dauntless for a very long time and now I'm dauntless. I took a bandage and put it where I was bleeding I sat done and one of the other leaders came up and spoke for a couple of minutes and I was supposed I just wanna go to my new home already. I looked at my parents and they were crying and they have never had an abnegation person go to dauntless for years 

 I looked down and I knew they were mad at me but I'm happy with my new factions my new family and I know I'm going to make good friends here I know that and I'm going to make everyone proud of me and they can't stop that from happening. Everyone from dauntless was getting up and they started to run and I started to run and I kept up with them really good and we had to climb the railing to get to the train and I was kinda scared but I started to climb so I wouldn't be left behind or factionless

I saw everyone waiting and I was the second to first person up there and we started running to catch the train it was hard to get in my someone helped me in and I sat done and I saw a  candor girl sitting she was tall, dark skin, short hair and I sat next to her. She looked at me with a smile and she shook my hand. "That was a very Impressive move on your part, I'm Tina." I smile at her and I laughed and I was happy and scared for what was next.  "I'm tris and i always wanted to be kind dauntless since i was little." She smiles at me and now I'm free.

I bet we are close because they just opened the doors again they wouldn't open the doors if we weren't close to the compound at all. "Tina I think we are about to jump." She looked at me with wide eyes and we look out of the door and everyone was jumping and I guess we have to jump. We both jumped at the same time and we landed on our feet and we walk where one of the leaders was. We just stood there and we didn't know what to do at all.

She got up on the edge and stood there until everyone was quiet. "Welcome to Dauntless and everyone has to jump where I'm standing if you wanna enter the dauntless compound if you don't you will be factionless and that's the rule so who will go first?" We all looked around tina looked at me and I nodded my head and she volunteered first i was surprised and I came next  after her because  wanted to get to over with
