Chapter 8

I was the first one where they had the guns and was prepared for this test but I don't know about the test. I want to stay in Dauntless but all I can do is try super hard to keep on the top. "Good morning dauntless, We are gathered here to witness one of the tests and practices and see how everyone does before we show the updated rankings for these students. I want to welcome you to this. " They pushed the buzzer and everyone started to run and grab the guns and the bullets I was sprinting as fast as I could to get the gun that I wanted and had been training on but I could grab it in time sadly. I looked at Gage and he shook his head as if it was ok. I put the bullets in and started to shoot the fake dummies as fast as I could and I shot one and the head came off and it was smoking.  I saw the others and they are coming up fast and I started running with the gun and started to shoot every single dummy until I was out of bullets. When I ran out of bullets I dropped the gun and started running as fast I could and Saw the second obstacle and it was water and a has to climb up the highest building to get bricks from the 10 feet pool. I Was trying to see where I could go to climb.

I looked around and was trying to see where I can climb and get the brick and I found an odd stairwell that was breaking off but i had n choice and i climbed as high as i could and i saw the toughest and meanest guy climbing behind me. I let go and jump into the pool and swam and got brick and I was running out of air I came up and got out of the pool and put it in a trash can and rang the bell to everyone that I was done. I started running fast so I could lose the guy that was on me and it was rope and there was mud at the bottom of it and I used my hands and my arms to reach to the top and I would have to swing to the rope and so on until I hit the land and hit the buzzer. It took a while but I made it to the last one I fell into the mud but I got out and ran to the buzzer and hit it and sirens and lights were flickering and it felt good to get here first. 

The Dauntless borns were out of breath and they looks god awful when I saw a bunch of mud everywhere. The leader of Dauntless had a microphone in his hand and came next to me "Everyone I wanted to come and graduate  Tris on coming in first and she was an abnegation girl but she us and I hope you will keep on choosing us forever." Everyone started yelling and clapping and he rose my hand up so everyone can see that Abnegation transfers can be a part of Dauntless.  " I also wanted to show the final reports of the board and this wasn't a practice test for the transfers or the borns t was the actual test to see if you will survive dauntless." I went back to my group if friends and we were confused but happy at the same time because there was any more test and I don't know why they didn't tell us. We looked on the board and I was the number 1 ranked I was so proud I myself but half of my friends didn't even make it. " Guys I am so sorry that you didn't make it." Thye walked away and they went to change their clothes and pack up for good.

Gage walked over and shook my hand and I wasn't happy anymore he knew it. "Tris, what's wrong?" I looked at him with tears coming out and I wiped all the mud on my face while I was crying. "What will they do to my friends?" He looked at me like they are going to do something bad or maybe kill them. " Tris they have to pack up their things and they have three options." I looked at him like its a joke but I knew it wasn't at the same time. "So whats re the three options my leaders only told me there were only three." He looked at me like I wasn't supposed to know the three options but wasn't to know. " Well option number 1 us asked for forgiveness from your old factions, number 2 is to go factionless, or number 3 get killed and get out of your misery. Everyone chooses an option if they make it." I looked at him and I was furious and I didn't know what o say to him at all. " I never got the option at all." He looked at me like they knew was gonna rank good or something. " Tris they knew that you are gonna rank good because of how strong and capable you are."
