Chapter 7

Gage gave me gloves to put on my hands and we were by a punching bag. "Tris push it as hard as you can. I'm trying to see your strengths and weaknesses to help you as much as possible." I looked at him like he was crazy but I did what he told me. I tried so hard but the bag wasn't moving at all and I felt so embarrassed. "Gage I don't if I can do this." He looked at me like I was stupid and I knew I told him a stupid thing but it was so true tho. I'm a stiff. He punched the bag and he moved it I was shocked. "Tris takes those off and we are going on a run." I did what he told me and he started running I was trying to catch up to him but it was hard but I didn't catch up to him quickly.

We went running for a while and we took a break by a destroyed tower. "Tris you are really fast for a stiff. Did you have any kind of training when you were in abnegation?"  I looked at him when I was trying to catch my breath. I shook my head no. He didn't know what to say but we kept on running. We ended up back up to the training area of Dauntless. I went back to the area where the transfers are and they are getting ready for bed. "Tris, where were you?" I looked at Tina but I was trying to find an excuse but I have to tell her where I was. "I was with Gage and we went for a run." She just nodded and she grabbed my clothes and I went to the shower to clean up so I don't smell like sweat. When I came back out of the shower room everyone was in bed and talking. "Stiff you don't look like a stiff anymore and I am not happy about it at all." I injured him and lay in bed and fell asleep.

 I heard footsteps that were really loud and I looked at my alarm clock and it was 3:30 am and laid up and I saw Gage and I got up and I changed into new black clothes and I went and followed him and he shoved a gun in my hand. "Gage what's going on?" He grabbed my arm and we went to the training center and other were dummies just ready for this morning and he grabbed me 12 rounds of bullets for my gun. "the rankings are today and this is going to be a final thing and there are more testing because the transfers are getting tested you and others are getting tested later today and you have to well if you want to stay in dauntless." I looked at him and I was worried and I wanted to stay in Dauntless.

I put the bullets in the gun and I started to shoot and I made good dents in the dummies and there were 10 in the head and two in the heart area. He was impressed but I don't know if I'm good enough on the gun but I am really good at the others but I know this isn't the final final thing because we arent in shaped just yer this is just the start of the tests.
