chapter 5

When tina jumped and I looked down and I guess there is net down there and I took my jacket off everyone started to chuckle and I was embarrassed but I know this is my home and I turned backward and I fell and I didn't scream at all but id dint grunt when I hut the net and I knew I stayed there for a couple of minutes and then a guy that was pulling the neat towards him and he looked at me and he was surprised to see an abnegation gild down in dauntless.  He looked at me up and down. "Did you get pushed her or did you wanna jump?" I looked at him and I smiled and I moved my hair out of the way. "I actually jumped by myself." He smiled and he had a  bitch face and I looked everywhere. "What's your name?" I looked at him then at tina

I took a big breath and I looked at him again and I didn't know what to say at all. "My name is tris." He nodded and he looked at everyone and he started to clap and I went down to where tina is and I just stood there and waited for everyone to come down here. I felt so weird and I didn't know what to do at all. Tina was watching everyone coming done ad I was didn't care for the people jumping down here at all. I just wanna start training or be given a tour of the whole place. It's so dark but not where the big whole is  where the people are jumping 

I was so tired of today and I just wanna be here and part of the family and I just wanna get to everything and I know I belong here but at the same time, I don't belong here at all. " The newborns go with Erik and that's your instructor for the training. and the transfers I'm your instructor during this time and you guys are separated but ranked the same way as the others." We were hanging on the last word that he was saying to. We were like puppies and he didn't give his name to us. A lot of newborns went with Erik

There are only 5 transfers. I'm not really surprised at all. ''My name is  Gage and I was the top rank and hopefully, you will survive the training that we are going to put with you." We looked at him most of the transfers were scared but I wasn't scared at all. We followed him to the door that leads us out to where we jumped. I followed first and the abnegation people follow last but I didn't wanna go last at all. I wanted to hear his last words and I just wanna get all the answers that I can get.  I was nervous my stomach was knotting and I didn't know what to expect from dauntless and it was dark everyone was wearing dark colors mostly black.  I looked at everything and it was cool and nice but we were underground for the most part. Everyone was looking at us like we were weird 

people were whispering about and everyone was pointing at me and I felt uncomfortable for the most part.  "Tris everyone is looking at you because you are from abnegation." I looked at her and I didn't say anything t her because I didn't know what to say to her at all. But I kept my head down because I didn't know what to do. "It's fine tina they can stare and whisper as long as they want. I really don't care of what they say." She looked at me and nodded and kept on walking next to me and we followed  Gage and he didn't say a lot to us and I bet he was embarrassed to be walking with us and I don't blame him at all. He was walking so fast and we tried to keep up with him but some of us couldn't but I did.
