Marinette Dupain Cheng, or actually named Cynthia Madeline Universe, had a great life. Keyword had.

She was bullied badly by Chloe Bourgeois for years, but she made due and survived that.

Marinette got her Miraculous at 13 years old and gained a partner by the name of Chat Noir. He meant well in areas, but was too flirty and joking around at inappropriate times for her tastes. And his insistence that they belonged together and were made for each other were quite frankly annoying. She wasn't anyone's possession or prize to win, or a possession or prize to when for that matter thank you very much.

After nearly a year of being Ladybug a new student by the name of Lila Rossi showed up and spewed lies and tall tales left and right as though her life depended on it. After leaving school for a few months after her first akumatization with the claim that she was going on a trip with her mother to the kingdom of Achu and coming back from her so called trip she had cornered Marinette in the girls restroom and threatened her that if she wasn't with her, she was against her and that is she was against her she would take all her friends away and make sure she couldn't get close to Adrien or anyone else again.

Marinette had thought the girl was bluffing and that there was no way she could turn her friends and former crush against her, with the confidence that they wouldn't believe some new girls lies over her. But boy was she wrong.

Her friends had turned on her left and right, easily might she add. Marinette was saddened by this and couldn't help but feeling super betrayed as these were people who knew her for years and have been friends with her for years, and yet they easily turned their back on her over a new girls lies. Lila and her her former friends even turned her against her Dad's distant cousins that she had been sent to live with when she was a little girl.

The people she had called Maman and Papa infront of others and had come to see them as a mother and second father had disowned her and kicked her out. They tried to take her sketchbooks of designs and her designs and give them to Lila as she had claimed that I stole her sketchbooks of designs and designs. But I was faster and got my hand on them all and moved them ahead of time to my own apartment as Alya had a month prior try to lie her way up into my room and destroy my designs. She hadn't counted on me walking in last minute and catching her in time before she could destroy any of my designs. I then had ran to her, grabbed her wrist, and stormed down the stairs and practically threw the other girl out of the bakery with the threat of if she ever did that one more time, or sent anyone else tried to do that, she would sick her lawyers on her and anyone else involved and be their worst nightmare.

Needless to say they probably used that against her to get Sabine and Tom to disown her and kick her out. Not that it mattered as Grandma Gina, Grandpa Roland, and Great Uncle Cheng didn't believe the bull that Sabine and Tom told them she did. They voiced as much and cut off all ties with them.

That happened almost three months ago though. She had contacted her Dad and asked if she could return back to Beach City soon. Her dad said yes and come summer break, which was two months away, she would be escorted by her Grandma Gina to the airport where she would escort her back to Beach City. She couldn't wait to see her Dad and little brother again. Along with meet her brothers Gem family and friends, along with his girlfriend.

She was worried about him. They have remained in constant contact over the years, which was good considering how busy things got for the both of them and it was nice to see that despite how busy things were for them, that they still have plenty of time for each other. However, he's been pretty distant for awhile now.

However, that meant that Marinette had to get rid of Hawkmoth real soon. Or at least talk to Master Fu about her using the Horse Miraculous. That would have to be sorted out later.

Oh, and if you were wondering. Yes, Marinette/Cynthia does have a gem. Surprising I know. As her and Steven are Twins and their dad is human, normally only one child would have survived. But they both survived and got a gem. Turns out a distant Uncle of their dads had a gem, he was of course disowned from the family for having a gem, but he still had a gem nonetheless. Marinette/Cynthia's gem is a Blue Tiger Eye gem.

More extra information:
Cynthia Madeline Universe was given to Greg Universe's distant cousins who weren't strict and dictating like his parents like his to raise as he was barely able to be there and raise Steven when he was a baby. He didn't abandon Cynthia or anything like that and Cynthia knew and knows this. This particular oneshot will be at the very least 2 parts, maybe 3, however I probably will make this particular crossover and plot a book of it's own and have it be a full book. Also, this crossover takes place during and after Steven's gem starts to become corrupted and afterwards when he returns back to Steven. Also Cynthia and Steven will be 16 in this.
