The Daughter of Nadia Al Ghul: Part 2

{•°Time skip to when Desiree is 10°•}

"Have you do what was planned?" Ra's asked Talia.

"Yes. Damian is now with his Father." Talia answered.

"Good. Everything is going according to plan then." Ra's said with a sinister grin.

"Indeed Grandfather." Talia said, sporting the same sinister grin.

Nadia stood there in silence while they were talking but decided now the best time to cut them off with a question of what she was planning to do next.

"Grandfather. I must ask you something." Nadia interrupted, and wait for permission to. Not our of fear or respect, but simply because she wasn't suicidal and if she wanted her plan to have even a small chance of working, she had to play things just right in order for things to go in her favor.

"Speak your question then leave us and tend to your daughter." Ras's demanded in distain.

"My question is actually about her. With your permission, I would like to send her to Paris." Nadia said.

"Whatever for?" Ra's asked grumpily.

"Connections. The Agreste family reside in Paris. Gabriel Agreste and Emilie Agreste have a son that is Desiree's age. The Agreste's may have no part in the league, nor is the league at all poor, but should Desiree and the Agreste son for a relationship that would give her connections. Especially if she can influence those connections to do our bidding. The Mayor of Paris also has a daughter Desiree's age. Having connections with a Mayor, and the Mayor of Paris at that as they have some of the best technology around, would be quite beneficial. It would also give the league a chance to widen our horizons and expand the league and gather more members." Nadia said, using words like connections, our, and even mentioning that Gabriel Agreste and Emilie Agreste have a son Desiree's age, to get things to work in her favor. However, the true reason she wants to send Desiree to Paris is because the Great Guardian of the Miraculous also resides in Paris. While she didn't want her daughter involved in stuff like the Miraculous at such a young age, she rather her daughter be involved in Miraculous things, then staying here in Gotham with the league when the possiblity of Talia and Ra's setting an accident up for her and eventually her daughter, was high.

Sending Desiree away to Paris would prolong Talia and Ra's setting aside an accident for her as they wouldn't be determined enough to take the accident all the way to Paris. While the possibility of Talia and Ra's setting aside an accident for her would still be high, she rather take her chances with that than her daughter get killed by them.

The entirety of the new set of silence was because Ra's was contemplating what his answer would be.

"Very well. Ensure that she makes it to Paris. Now leave us." Ra's grumpily agreed and quickly dismissed Nadia.

Nadia nodded curtly and left the room. Good, they didn't suspect anything. If anything they probably thought she was trying to gain Ra's approval. As if, he was a lost cause. Not that they needed to know.

And indeed Nadia was right. Ra's and Talia did indeed things she was just trying to get Ra's approval. Which would never happen. What they didn't know was that she never cared to have his, nor her's, approval.

"Desiree, sweetling, pack your things." Nadia ordered Desiree who was sitting and waiting for her mom to arrive back in their sleeping quarters.

"Ra's approved of your idea?" Desiree asked her mom.

"Yes, he did sweetling." Nadia replied to her daughters question as she started to pack.

"And what was it that you said to get the old geezer to agree to you sending me to Paris? Desiree asked while packing.

"Connections. The Agreste's have a son your age and I mentioned that if you and the Agreste's son were to form a relationship that the connections you would get would be beneficial to the league, especially if you were to influence them to do the leagues bidding. The Mayor of Paris also has a daughter your age and it would be beneficial to the league with all the connections you could get from having a bond with the Mayor's daughter. I also said you going to Paris could widen the leagues horizons and gain us new members." Nadia once again replied.

Desiree nodded and she had finished packing.

"And what is the real reason you are sending me away? Other than the fact that you actually love me until your horrid sister who holds no love for her son or her niece, and aside from the fact that you love me so much to send me away and prolong the old geezer and lap dog setting aside an accident for me and take the now even more possiblity of them setting aside an accident for you to get you out of the picture." Desiree asked.

"The Great Guardian of the Miraculous also resides in Paris. While I don't care to have you involved in anything Miraculous at such a young age, she you get involved and be apart of anything Miraculous at such a young age, I rather you become a Miraculous holder and fight a super powered villain than my horrid sister and the old fart that is our Grandfather kill you. To some, this may not sound in anyway better, but I don't really have any other option." Nadia answered.

Desiree nodded. "I understand." she said.

"Good. You got what you could packed?" Nadia asked.

"Yes." Desiree nodded once again.

Nadia nodded and kneeled down to her daughters level.

"I love you very much sweetling, always remember that." Nadia said in a soft voice with an even softer smile of her face.

"I love you to Mom." Desiree said back and the to shared a hug and kiss on the cheeks and forehead.

After a brief moment they broke up.

"Now then, let's go." Nadia said.

Desiree again nodded and they made their way to the meeting place of where the plan of Nadia's would fully begin.
