I sat on a plane looking out the window. Grey clouds surrounded the sky, it was lightly raining, luckily there wasn't any thunder or lightning or strong winds, and it wasn't raining hard. So the plane ride was going smooth.

Still, as I looked out of the window by me, watching the rain run down the window, I couldn't help the tears that had streamed down my cheeks. I began silently sobbing again.

The nice lady sitting by me, escorting me to my destination, starting to rub my shoulder slightly again in an attempt to try to comfort me.

"I'm sorry this is happening to you deary. I wish I could have done something to change their minds, but unfortunately all attempts I made to try to make them see reason fell on deaf ears. However, despite the roughness and sadness of the situation you are facing, you are heading to a school many can only dream of going to. While there are people stuck in the past, and stuck in their own prejudice, I have no doubt that you will make new friends, and that these friends will be true ones." The nice lady said, her name is Octavia.

"It's not your fault. It's not my fault either. And you're right, this is a blank slate, a new experience, a new change in scenery, and a chance to move forward and make new friends and family. I can't move forward if I'm stuck in the past." I said, managing to build up some confidence.

"Good. Think of both the positives and the negatives, don't let yourself get stuck in the past, but remember that the negatives that have happened in your life can help you move forward, with the determination that yes, things may have gone bad, but, there is a chance to move forward with your life and that not everyone is the same as the negative people in your life. One must find a balance between the positives and negatives that have happened in their live, if they always try to live in the positive they are sheltering themselves from the troubles life throws at them, if they always try to live in the negatives then they will never know what they can truly do and who they could've become. Life isn't easy, and it isn't always fair, but the curve balls life throws at you is what makes life, well life. You can't get anywhere in life if you're not challenged in some way." Octavia said.

I thought Octavia's advice over, it was really good advice. "𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑑𝑒𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑝𝑖𝑒𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑎𝑑𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒. 𝐴𝑙𝑠𝑜, ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑖𝑠 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑎 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑝𝑖𝑠𝑡 𝑜𝑟 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡?" I thought in my head. Or so I thought. Octavia laughed lightly beside me.
